That is indeed a good price! It was going to be a fair bit more through Pelican Parts for the same thing last time I checked. Only annoying bit is possibly getting 15% added on at customs

Use Brasso on the lights, works a charm. Also take them out as you can clean them better, and also get the 15 years of crud off from around the back and underneath them

To me supercars / hyper cars like this shouldn't be messed with. If anything it doesn't look as good as 'stock' & the handling performance has more than likely been reduced. But eh, let people do what they want if they can afford it.

Blame the accountants! A friend of my dads had one of these, 2002 745i and the motor had a major oil problem at 45k kms a few years back, needed a replacement engine. Apparently it was a quality fault, and not a maintenance issue. Not good!

This is the bit where I say you should have bought a six cylinder version. At least then you would be into the 200hp+ bracket with ease.

That is my definition of a ruined car... How is that possibly better than a stock 330i E46. Sigh!

I've always though so, I just like stock turbo engine sound, like an RS6 V8 or similar. Beautiful!

Yeah I've always had concerns about the long intake back to the engine... but apparently if done right it can work - I've seen a few of these setups floating around the internet. I'd be silly enough to try it out one day given the right project.
