Well that makes sense! How did I not think of that. I'll give that a try.

I think they are naturally gutless... Joking aside, if it's really bad, I'd start with a compression test, and go from there. Or just get it taken to a reputable independent BMW garage.

Really?? Jesus... maybe they should just stick to Rover 75s, plenty of wood in those!

So yeah it turns out my E34 has some kind of ant infestation at the moment.... I noticed a few ants now and then, but as of late it's just ridiculous, every 12 inches theres an ant somewhere! Very annoying, I am just wondering if they are doing any damage? Would they be eating anything? Has anyone had experience of where they would typically nest within a car? I just wanted to get an idea before I start ripping half the car apart to find the nest and get rid of it. Any advise would be appreciated!

What figure would one be asking?

Hi, I'm after a temperature sensor, one for the dash, part number is 12621747281 Anyone have some 'good' used ones around? Rather try some first than spending a pile on a new one just yet. Cheers

Aside from the name mix up. What an awful looking car.......

Good on you James Although this is kinda scary seeing these parts fail...... I mean with my V8 in my stock non-M E36 I doubt my mounting points are very happy right now... The plan is to get the M3 reinforcing plates welded in at my panel and paint guy when I also get him to clear space for the dual exhaust and swap in another subframe/diff, but I think I should get it done sooner than later!

Haha, some people need to get with the times.

Nice. What is the mileage?

Seems very nice and well priced... a pitty you didn't list this when I got my 535i 2 months ago!

Mmmm that looks like great value.

^ Ooo when did you acquire an E39 540i motorsport Nick?

Brent driving along in his excellent E28 545 going through Ellerslie earlier this afternoon.

Maybe you could cut the 16x8" in half, remove 1" of the width and then have the halves welded back together. Perfect.

Good stuff Brent
