yeah Graham, with regards to E65s, think they just have too many problems that scare people off so they are very worthless because of their initial cost and complexity etc. Once again a supply and demand thing, not much demand for expensive used limos with lots of hidden issues to address, hence rock bottom pricing. Issues like electric handbrake control failure to mention one thing are the kind of thing that shouldnt go wrong, yet they do.

This one beats all of the above. No douchey black grilles, no silly stance / camber, balanced ride height, classic wheel styles not pasta drainers = win.

"Member Since Today, 12:47 AM" Hahaha. Go to bed.

"Why would I take $500 for it when I didn't take $1000 for it from the guy yesterday? I mean come one, there are limits to low balling people" Hahahaha
-
What is the complete motor and box worth with all electrics / DME etc?
-
I wonder if he will take $500

That front grille kills everything though. One was following me on the motorway, I had to let it pass so I didn't have to keep seeing it in my rear vision mirror. An F10 5er would be a more sensible choice

That's interesting Tom! Curious, what is the internal diameter of the throttle bodies?
-
But if you star 555 them, chances are you'll get done for using your mobile while driving in the spur of the moment, if say your hands free wasn't connected.

Haha! I was like what the heck is this thread going to be about. Couldn't fathom what a 'piston clock' was

I think if fines were ridiculous like that it would make people think twice way more than the do normally. I know I would! However.... I suspect that could lead to a genuine reduction in offences, thus less fines , so actually less money for the police gathering machine in NZ... thus they would prefer cheaper fines so it's more likely people will offend more regularly keeping a more steady flow of low dollar fines.

Careful with such red cars, could have had a cut and polish shortly before going on the market so it looks good. A few months down the road you could have faded red returning / clear coat pealing!

But the S62 sounds miles better than the Honda-esque V10. A V8 is a better package for weight distribution too. Yeah I'd imagine it would! It's a tricky one... I think they are a car to accept are rare and expensive if you want an original. On that note, isn't it about getting a fun car you're not scared to enjoy like a regular M3? I sense some CSL owners would end up keeping theirs in the garage too often! If I wanted a fast M3 I'd just do what Ray does and build even better M cars with parts from other cars. He & his team have made some perfect cars over the years.

^ word. Hard to beat a S62 E46 M3 custom package. What more does one need?!
-
A lot of it must be down to the tune of the engine and gearbox electrics, seems some of the gurus can just flash CSL software on regular cars. The rest must just be mechanical suspension changes with bolt on parts?
-
To be fair you could replicate most of the CSL 'improvements' on a standard M3. While it wouldn't be factory it would be cheaper and obtainable. Of course the extra details like the roof carbon and plastic panels do make it harder to do but anythings possible with the right direction & $

Welome Blake. Looks like a fun machine. Auto or manual?

Hey lads Wondering if anyone had a spare single Style 48 wheel with tyre in good know condition. Looking to replace a buckled rim. x1 They look like this: Aternatively also open to factory sets of 4x rims of E39 wheels with tyres in Auckland. Not wanting to pay the earth but let me know what you have. Ideally these types: Style 33

The capsule ones are okay, gimmicky quick and easy, but you can't really make a coffee with such they have no room for user skill. I don't like them. Id stick with a proven manual coffee machines if you like timing it all yourself, or get a electronic automated one that switch off after X amount of flow etc. Depends how much you want to spend / how seriously you take your coffee. I just run a mid range Krups auto unit, and have a decent grinder only grinding up the coffee as I use it so it stays fresher. I get beans direct from a coffee guy in the trade which are much fresher than most supermarket beans that have been sitting for weeks. Shiny beans are bad in that it means oil with in it leaching out reducing their freshness, altering the flavor.

Wow that is such a fantastic car. All credit to you. Don't see many around really.

^ Very low numbers. Much like my UZZ32 hydro active soarer. I've only been able to track down 7, ones mine, 2 have been parted, 1 other in Auckland, 3 in Wellington. Rare cars are fun cars!
