I thought it was good value as a mint little daily at $10-11k. Bang some weaves on (even 14”), I have mtech 1 spoilers and steering wheel in the garage, add a Bluetooth solution and it would have been cool. -

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/324211320100 If you can wait for delivery, that looks like a good option?

There are two at Pickapart in Auckland, (I know you’re in Chch) not sure if they have what you’re after, or if you could guarantee they’d be any good?
-
Same, $82 delivered vs $209 plus courier local.
-
To be fair, I’d never heard of them until about 8 months ago when someone here (Mean?) suggested them. I used them last week, 4 days from order to delivery and only 39% of the cost of local including delivery. I should have ordered more parts, the delivery was more than the parts.

That’s funny, they were $15k higher than my purchase price on agreed value and are still happy with it 2 years later.

I have AA, 3 claims, contents and vehicle, vehicle was done to an excellent standard (was very minor), first contents also excellent, one now has been easy but slow, COVID apparently. No complaints, fair premiums, discounts for combined and the Aa membership is pretty much paid for in discounts on insurance and wof.

To veer slightly off topic, what is the easiest way to get my car to recognise it has brand new brakes all round? -
Did the buyers ask for 4 different types of headlights? Or was that an option to upsell for more revenue?

Not enough.

I have a receipt somewhere for one new belt for about $1300, $900 for two sounds like a bargain, even if the reasoning for it is poor.

Nice work. I was looking at your photo thinking that looks so nice, but the drivers door trim looks funny, oh well, must be the light.

I know long life oil and all that, but some of those service intervals on something so high revving and with already fragile rod bearings, make my skin crawl. 22,000kms, 25,000kms, 27,000kms, 33,000kms. One of them with 3 years between.

They're actually not allowed to start construction work before 7.30am (that extra half hour is gold), only prep work before and no work at all before 7.30 Saturdays.

Speed bumps and raised crossings. Force every vehicle to slow down and accelerate again. Multiply that fuel usage out. I'm amazed nobody has called out Auckland Council for contributing to global warming.

Know anyone in Tauranga? https://www.pickapart.co.nz/webpage/WebPage.asp?Ref=10381&VehicleID=170837&SeriesID=141

At 10 years old and negative temps, I believe you’ve found your problem. Hope so.

Get them powder coated and ask the powder coater who they’d recommend. And shop around. I did mine last year, quotes were from $60-90/wheel for powder coating and $50-85 for blasting. I had one wheel done (blasted) at a place as a cash job that cost $100 (quoted $80, but cash so…), then had to have it redone as the job was so poor. Happy with the powder coating and they have a big range of colours.

I’m amazed by what low voltage does in a modern (ish) car. We have an ‘07 Civic, air con stopped working, thought “oh well”, needed a new battery, air con works. I’ve been reading thinking battery because you’re in a colder area, but I’m no guru. Look forward to seeing what the problem is.

How much damage can you do running on 91?

Just curious, never seen one with that level of soot around the exhaust.
