  3. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen one in Auckland, but can’t remember where or when. Sorry that doesn’t really help!

    Servicing

Petrol or diesel? E53/70, F15 or whatever the next one is? Brakes are pricey from the dealer, but the parts are easy to get and considerably cheaper elsewhere. General servicing shouldn't be outrageous. Check if they do the Value Service Package down there, $340 if 6 years old or more. Runflats can be expensive too, much more than a service depending on brand.
  5. ^^^^^ Complete with what used to pass as a personalised plate, perfect if your name is Oswald Quidditch.
  6. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/353658929712425/ another one
  7. Or better yet. https://www.caraudioworkshop.co.nz/lexus-conversions
  8. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/575013557242167/ he does Mazda, but may know someone? It’s a start…
  9. I was in a 2022 RS5 a week or so back and commented that the info screen looked like it had been stuck on. Didn’t look integrated at all.
  10. You mean like this (a random pic)?
  11. I have some for the X5, supplied by previous owner. Will try the q tips, as I haven’t used it. Hardly any chips though either.
  12. It’s well over a year (2-3-4?) since I did those the first time, if you’re waxing or polishing the car (with a polisher) anyway, it’s 2-3 min per side, I never bothered with a sealant.
  13. Got an orbital polisher? Just use an ordinary polish for fine swirls, use plenty, works a treat.
  14. The rear of a 992 and the front of an F Type? No thanks.
  15. Then grab one with a ppi by Lexus/Toyota that leads into a No Worries Warrantee, it means what it says. Full coverage to 150km and drivetrain thereafter, but iirc, if you had the car prior to 150km when the warranty was issued, full coverage is maintained. Just have it serviced there, they normally do a nice line in courtesy cars and servicing is competitive. Just avoid a Singapore import. Nz new first, then Japanese.
  16. Easily overlooked the Campbell.
  17. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/467991808238940/ without the crank snapping and lower kms.
  18. I have the same (top one) in my coupe. Just started seeping out of the bottom of the expansion tank. Looks like there is a washer or two able to be replaced?
  19. Washed the X5 after Akld-Wgtn-Taupo-Akld-Coromandel-Akld. Last two days under a Puriri with wood pigeons shitting on it. Took 3 hours with a clay bar and buckets of water to get it nearly back to where it was.
  20. I quite liked the colour, low ks appealed.
  21. It was down Parenata/Papakowhai way with the original owner. I didn’t think it was bad at &9k given the ks, but $16.5 non negotiable?
  22. Considering it was on FB marketplace at the end of Nov for $9,700 asking, no. Sorry, mid October with 71kms.
  23. 18kms is what BMW told me to expect on a standard alignment, he suggested easing off on the negative camber rears if I wanted to increase tyre life, I’m not that bothered. That tyre life ties in with what I’ve just experienced with the car, I’d estimate 22-24kms, but it now does more kms in town turning manouvering etc. There is no suspension damage, air bag issues or alignment problems, it’s just a big heavy car on (factory) 21” wheels running some negative camber that sometimes gets driven enthusiastically and sometimes carries a sh*t load of luggage/roof box/bike rack. It’s the inner edges on the rears that give up, an upside is that 18kms is better than 15kms which I got on my Falcon Turbo. I have a friend with an E70 Motorsport that regularly tows a heavy boat, he gets 8-10kms, so I’m already in credit.
