I did the X5 at Henderson tip, added up what was inside and compared to handbook, it was pretty much spot on.

I paid $70+gst for the blasting, not sure they’d be keen to replicate that though.

That’s much cheaper than blasting, factory wheels have some rubberised coating on them that is tough to remove with blasting.

I just had some wheels sand blasted. Whatever you do, don’t use Master Blaster in Grafton. I ended up using Autoblast on the North Shore, who were good. But I think you’re in Hamilton?

NZ Post turned up at our place to deliver a package, rummaged through the van and declared they couldn't find it. Delivered it two streets over to someone who called us (number on the packing slip) to collect. Delivered another package of ours to number 14 in our street (we are 24), then the following week delivered a package for 14 to us. As an ex courier driver, I find it truly bizarre.

That’s all good to hear, sounds like yours does enough ks to avoid some issues. The early ones seemed to have all sorts going wrong.

Don’t get a diesel CX-5, esp pre 2017. Stick to the petrol, 2.5. The CEO of a warranty company put me onto that. There’s 3 CX models in the family (3,5,9) and all have been basically faultless. If you get a CX5 at all that is.

Does it have a sunroof? If so, definitely inspect. For me, having two, I would want to see it anyway. Or have a trusted inspection.

For the temp, you can just get on the motorway regularly for a clean out. Adaptive LEDs are awesome.
