  1. Pretty kewl... ...but looks like it was running WRC sized tarmac wheels/tyres (225/650 R18's) which would be small on anything with +800hp thus the extreme loose-ness.
  2. Try these guys or one of there distributors I remember from a visit to the warehouse there were bins full of lug bolts of varying length.
  3. I am running 15mm Rogue Engineering Hubcentric Spacers, they come with longer lug bolts. IIRC I got them from Bimmerworld (with a bunch of other stuff). RE Spacers
  4. Any updates here Dave??
  5. could see that coming a mile off, but obviously 'he wasn't expecting that'... Must have hurt too.
  6. My 2c. Don't go for a sleeve type adaptor... If you are going to that effort, making new hubs would be much easier, and can use generic SKF wheel bearings etc... As for brakes, look for something that bolts to the E30 strut (R33 4pots IIRC) and then work back to get the right hub offset to suit the matching rotor. And it would all 'bolt' together. Something like these (but for the E30): HQ ones on TM
  7. I've got a Sega Master System with ~15 games, no plans to part with it sorry. While all the reminiscing is going on... Our first home PC was one of these: and one on TM
  8. I gather the cage goes through to the strut towers then?? Couldn't see in the pics. And this is only my opinion, but, that has to be the ugliest looking engines I have seen (prob. like most modern, plastic covered engines I guess) kind of goes with the body style also..... flame suit on, runs for cover
  9. So what is the recovery plan? Just replace or improve?

    8 Series Vert

    Looks like a big Z1
  11. Prob. because neither have hydraulic lifters...... The Rockers/Tappets would have needed adjusting!! I used that same stuff Cam mentioned when we had our EVO, worked awesome, also, always ran it on Pennzoil semi-synthetic and it stayed quiet. As for the topic at hand NFI, but sounds ECU related. If the fuel pump controlled by the ECU?
  12. wholly tiny turbine housings batman.... (Hopefully the MV-R44 can flow enough up the top-end on the 3.5L to not boost-creep on you.) And on that nice manifold.... would expect a nice big T.HSG I have absolutely no doubt Steve would have set you up with exactly what you want, just a surprisingly small T.HSG Very excited to see how things go & the In-Car vidi's to come
  13. Except, they aren't trading in the doll bludgers & slutty mums, so we will have both on the books.... It is a bit unfortunate that the renewal has come up now, and I bet Labour are pleased with the picture it paints for national at the present time, given that most go-averages will just see it as the govt spending and not the contractual arrangement Labour set in place, also that while they prob. could break the contract and by a fleet of Great Wall SUV's for 1/10 the spend it will cost them $$$ to do so. Finally, I guess the discount on the F01's wasn't as good as the old E65's...... No doubt it was discount now, full price on the next ones edit: + What COSMOS said
  14. bah, just being nit picky. I'm sure if you were really interested you would have click on the trim option or brochure and seen what the Prado looks like, and you'd be in the yard test driving one before handing over that sort of coin on. Not hitting the "Buy Now" based on a mountain top pic of an SUV....

    VW ad

Saw it on TV last night, was ROFL
  16. Who needs traction when you can chuck a couple of JATO's behind the license plate.... Speaking of which, who watched Mythbusters on Monday, OMG the car cutting sled!!!
  17. 245/40 with 225/45 on the front 7.5's For the 3.2l or 235/40's all round on 7.5's For the 3.0l
  18. It would be worth more being 'legal', whether you get more is another story. It's still a modified car that would put most average punters off. Those who know what it's all about will still prob. play that card and try to low-ball you. There is no money in modified cars.
  19. Depends, someone may be happy to take the risk driving it around without a LVVTA Certification (thus no insurance or legitimate WOF). Thats were an original 325i will be worth more, as would the original 320i at a guess.
  20. Rimrite - Palmerston North
  21. As they do. What are you trading it on? Better not be a people mover lol
  22. [OT] I know what you are saying (thus my name) But to be even more picky, would it not be a 345i Based on the 745i being a 3.5l Turbo or should it be 340i based on the E90 335i being a 3.0l Turbo [/OT] Theses APR GTC WINGS seems to get good reviews (for a budget wing) from the US BMW racers (one being in the pic below).
