  1. Get them wrapped in pairs, and use JD Lyons, usually ~$40 for cashies smaller than a pallet. Or a trek/meet up that way sounds like a good excuse for a drive to me!!!
  2. I guess it must be the "look" you are going for.so I won't bother with a suspension geomtery speal as the handling (or lack there of) must not mean alot, and if that is the case, why even bother, just ride it on the bump stops till Mr.Plod stores it away for you?? And NO, you can not shorten the shock body. FYI, some cheap KYB inserts for a Corolla would prolly fit, and be shorter, stop by supercheap and have a look in their catalogues.
  3. They would have shortened the shaft, this will keep shorter springs captive but reduce suspension travel. To get the suspension travel back you need to shorten the strut and use a shorter shock body.
  4. I suspect it's pimp'd out gusto, ridin' on the bumpstops.
  5. Or the most obvious, get shorter inserts!!! And you'll want to cut the threaded portion off and reuse it (ie. weld it back on once you've cut the desired amount out), unless you are really good at tapping a M45 thread, yeah right.
  6. ditch the funky lights and paint the mesh black then it would be sweet.
  7. Not taken today as it's a bit hazy outside.

They look the same as Lancer EVO I seats.
  9. Look best on the E34. They must be an odd offset to not fit the E34 and have so much space on the E36. Something like a et26?? You may have to go for the stretched euro look to avoid the arches on the E36!?!?! Or roll them.
  10. I've got a Medium case 3.46 in good working order (nice ratio for a 2.5l turbo). Pick it up when you get the injectors if you like, sort the $$$ out.

Interesting steed there gus, going upqueen st won't be much fun I imagine!?!?! No more hanging it out in traffic either, unless you endo it a little (use to love doing that on my FZR400) and then add a bit of Valentio Rossi action in there.

  15. DIY is the only way if you want to keep the costs down. I would hate to think how much what I have done would cost if you were to pay someone. For me, 75% or the enjoyment comes from designing/building things for the E30, 25% is driving it and finding out what you f*#ked up or what else you need to do. And we won't talk about how much I have spent, I will say it was Just under $8k when it was on the road the first time, and it worked very well. It has had 2 more stints off the road since then for further refinements LOL, and I stopped keeping track of the $$$ as the wife would kill me if she knew
  16. Porsche 996 4pots all round.TT Supra discs front 324x30, E36 M3 rear 312x20. 4lugs will be fine for a SR20DET, the brakes will need to be upgraded abit, not legally required but stock brakes will put a damper on things when they run out!!
  17. I second the motion of sticking to small engines!! Big 6's are a squeeze. But they are so much fun
  18. Go see the guy's at petone radiators (nelson st.), they'll look after you. I got a brand new one for the sisters E36 $530, Sam had a tank replaced by them on his 535iS also.
  19. Looks good for a first attempt/trial, obviously not a high HP item but will work well non the less. Grant, I have 4 GSR 390cc injectors which may be of use to you, just find a couple more as they are pretty cheap!?!?!

    E36 M3 Wheels

17x7.5 for the 3.0's 17x7.5 front & 17x8.5 rear for the 3.2's But both could have either size though and there are about 4 different styles they came with.
  21. Could you not pull the "Driver Training Day" card as opposed to the track "thrash the sh*t out of it" day??Good to see a woman out there enjoying a track time, bit of a rarity.
  22. OT.Those wheels only came in 7.5" spec'd with 235/40's.
  23. Now you're talking like a 320 owner!!!Get a nice big 300 duration, mad lumpy idle stylz @ 2000rpm
  24. He should have them in his computer, he cam over lay them which is quite fun to look at.When I got mine done, the guy overlaid a 635 plot, I pwn'd!!11!!!!1!!1! it big time
