  1. Good to see my old wheels being put to use , hardly had them on my old car long. Just for reference iirc: Front:7.5" with 1.5" lip. ET15 Rear: 8" with 2" lip. ET10
  2. Eagle

    Some E32 love

Always liked E32 looks over E34 after owning one, after all the E34 was just a another version of them.
  3. Love the E31 until you turn on the lights, id take an E24 instead.
  4. Might go 100 but don't be crashing anytime soon
  5. Its more the upper control arms(thrust arms) that cause the shimmy, the arm with the spherical bearing is the lower control arm. Some M5 owners seem to replace lower control arm with E31 units and press a 750i or M5 bushing in the uppers Ive got some E32 750i upper control arm bushings ive been meaning putting in mine, should last a bit longer and fix my very minor shimmy I think the cheapest bet to do as Jon said and replace the alloy arms with steel arms so you can press the bushing out and put urethane ones in EDIT: There are some well priced E31 lower arms on ebay around 250 each - would be the way to go
  6. From what just reasearched the actual arms are the same but the E31 have spherical bearing instead rubber bushing (E32 & E34's). People do seem to use M5 arms even thou not ideal, guessing due to cost. Dont think id call the 850i a super car maybe the 850csi
  7. IIRC E32, E34, E31 arms are interchangeable
  8. Cheapest way would be to get them for overseas. I just had a look at pelican parts and you can get both OEM M5 aluminum arms for under $500 incl air freight(takes about 7 days). Aftermarket are 1\2 that price but they wont last near as long as OEM.
  9. Should of mentioned comment was directed at E34's
  10. Never had any problems with my old E30 i just paid a bit more and got a tidy one, like has been said get what you pay for usually. Probably more unsafe E36's than E30's with every g-unit poser having seem to own one.
  11. Good deal. Would of been bidding if hadn't already got a car the other day
  12. Obviously he just going for the 'balla factor'
  13. Only self leveling in the iL versions
  14. Most cars with higher millage develop minor leaks\seepage for gaskets, most are easy to fix but as long as no drips i could live with it.
  15. Nothing wrong with E32's and cant beat M30. The early 7's do seem to have more electrical gremlins in my experience. Notthat many gizzmo's compared to modern 5's & 7's, about the right amount for without getting to complex imo I went to look at that one yesterday and was going to buy it for my brother but decided not to. The car had quite a few little problems, nothing major but you would probably have to spend a few hundred if you fixed them yourself. In saying that its still a fairly good deal for a manual if you dont mind getting your hands dirty
  16. Just not often see 3 yrs thread coming to life, wasn't crying about it if thats what were thinking.
  17. Id say E28 535i. 4k would be a project E24 Ive been on the look out for a nice decently priced E24 for near a year now and nothings come up, id say most of the nice ones don't change hands much if at all.
  18. Same bs different day. Only speeding ticket ive had in my life is from a cop at the end of a passing lane.
  19. Just as well you dont goto track days lol
