Eventually succeeded, started to remove diff and discovered how tight the half shaft bolts are. Discovered I'm out of penetrating oil. duvey 245 Report post Posted October 5, 2013 Pulled out front suspension. Replaced top mounts, bump stops, sway bar end links. Pulled out rear suspension. Replaced top mounts, bump stops. Installed ECS strut tower reinforcement plates. Replaced missing exhaust mount bolts. Replaced the crusty old 4" Nokia speakers in the parcel shelf with some new Sony ones. Replaced transmission fluid with Redline MTF. Nearly killed myself getting the fill plug out. ^ what noob left these out? 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Discovered the shifter arm rear mounting bush is missing. Got rather p*ssed off. duvey 245 Report post Posted October 12, 2013 Super satisfying headlight restoration: No moisture or dirt, I think it was clouded up with similar stuff you get on the inside of your windscreen from plastics gassing off over time.
