polley 916 Report post Posted November 6, 2011 Was running fine yesterday, drove it out of the garage. Started raining and went to start it, wouldn't run properly and back firing, pushed it back in, can't get it to run properly since, now it wont go at all, injectors don't appear to be firing. A lot of weird stuff going on. Going to put the standard ecu back in tomorrow once I get a new engine loom and hopefully confirm my haltech is doing funky things.. polley 916 Report post Posted November 13, 2011 So what was the problem?I ended up pulling out the haltech and putting standard ecu back in, wanted to confirm there was nothing wrong with engine / cam timing etc. Hopefully get the haltech issues sorted out this week as the standard airflow meter is already maxed out. heathcliff 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2011 i made a cupholder for my E21 yesterday, thought i'd detail it for any other E21 owners needing a solution. man i was struggling with the morning drive to work with a coffee in my gear changing hand, so set about making this. measurements... cut by designcam, a neighbouring business. first plan was to cover it in vinyl... test fit... sweet. if i did it again i'd make the holes slightly bigger. well and truly failed glueing the vinyl, next stop painting... the drive to work this morning was a great success... Yet another - Jack/engines don't go well together Didn't we say a "Dulux Red overhaul" is not a recon'ed engine You need to do the bits inside too
E36 M 9 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 Finally got my new springs in, but now the front is FAR much lower than the rear, possibly do the rears to even it out!
