Golfboy666GTI 68 Report post Posted May 25, 2015 Looks like it was a nice car, and has real BBS RS's on it: http://www.manheim.co.nz/damaged-vehicles/4431740/1990-bmw-m325i-sedan?referringPage=SearchResults
KwS 2421 Report post Posted May 25, 2015 Surely that wouldnt be too hard to fix? Looks like quite a high hit, so shouldnt have hit the chassis rail or anything. Pretty tidy otherwise.
Kepes 231 Report post Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Was a members car. Young kid, pretty sure it was his first car. Really nice. Very unlucky! Like Kelvin said, it really doesn't look too bad at all. I imagine someone will part it though, probably more money that way Edited May 25, 2015 by Kepes
C-130 Hercules 569 Report post Posted May 25, 2015 This should be put back in order and not parted.

E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted May 25, 2015 Nah, it's completely rooted. Now, all bugger off and let me get it cheap..! I won't part it, it's to be restored and put back on the road.

gjm 3258 Report post Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) I work maybe 10 minutes from where the auction will be held.Except on June 2nd, when I'll be in Wellington. I know it's a simulcast but I'd be prepared to bet I'll be in a meeting at the time! I hope they've wound the windows up otherwise it's going to have a small pool inside by now. Driftit 2068 Report post Posted May 26, 2015 I think the kid looked at buying my car. Glad he didn't. I am betting it will go over $5k. And if not you got a steal.
MD13 492 Report post Posted May 26, 2015 I imagine Ray or Brent would be all over this... So hopefully someone else gets it and restores it :-)
Driftit 2068 Report post Posted May 27, 2015 The parts to repair it are generic E30 parts. So I hope someone picks it up to restore too.
E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted May 27, 2015 I have got all the E30 bits needed to fix this, including a front cut, but if it gets anywhere near $5k it's out of my reach. Thinking about the parts in it, you could break it and get more than $5k, so yeah will prob be up around there. Dammit.
eliongater 718 Report post Posted May 27, 2015 Wouldn't it be worth more repaired rather than parted?

E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted May 27, 2015 Honest or cunning ploy to drive away other interested parties? If the former - bugg3r. Yes, I too smell a ruse.. very cunning. It's an NZ new car, so it can't be rusty... everybody knows that ONLY UK imports get rust .
Apex 693 Report post Posted May 27, 2015 Oh. I would never do that. Haha. Keen to have a look at the car though. Looks like a easy fix. Would buy to keep. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Driftit 2068 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 Well I would say there is about 10 Bimmersporters looking for their next car. Lots more lurkers thinking they will scoop it up to make a buck. And about 5 BMW wreckers who will pay more than all of you. If it was returned to its prior condition. It would fetch $12K plus as I am pretty sure that's what it sold for just a few months back. _ethrty-Andy_ 2132 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 would be surprised if it even gets to auction.
trip3 16 Report post Posted May 29, 2015 Too many interested parties for it not to go to auction... If it doesn't then someone's well networked... Seen te car before, wheels are copies... Just my 2 cents worth...
