4 pointsCentre caps just in, must admit I think they look awesome. Not too fond of the fake carbon fibre look but I didn't have an option and it can't be seen from a distance. I also thought the lettering was going to be gold but stoked to find that it's silver. Complete...

3 pointsBloody houses. Not house prices... Found a house we like. Been on the market for 11 months. Over-priced at the admission of the sellers - they've nowhere to move to, so thought they'd see what the market had to say and if it sold, they'd take time off and find a rental. Went to look on Thursday evening. Not perfect, but that wasn't expected. Nice bit of land, nice outlook, nice neighbourhood, good community. Spend the weekend doing due diligence. Call on Monday and... They'd just received a full asking price offer. (Seriously - not a seller put-on.) 11 fu^%%* months, we look, and that happens! Wouldn't mind quite so much but it is the 5th or 6th time this situation has come up in 9 months. The first place we looked at had been on the market for 18 months, we looked at it, and the very next day an agent approached the owner saying they had a buyer. <sigh> Good job we don't need to move. In the meantime, I think I'll advertise our services to anyone who is having problems selling.

3 pointsIf you're too bloody scared to drive your shitbox at more than 70km/h don't drive it down the middle of the motorway. In fact, don't take it anywhere near the bloody motorway, for safety's sake, especially your safety. On second thoughts if you are that useless at driving dont go near a car at all. It's not just tourists that need to have their keys taken away!!

3 pointsAnd finally... after much delay and procrastination my wheels are done and I'm very happy with the result. I still need new centre cap inserts but they've been ordered from Germany and should be here in the next few weeks. There are no silver inserts available any more so I need to make some more decisions when my black ones arrive. This is a subtle shadow chrome, slightly less shadow and slightly more chrome than the OEM e39 M5 wheels. My photography skills don't really do them justice.

2 pointsMate - I don't doubt you at all. I had an E90 before this M3 (and two E46's before that). Dad has a 545, partner drives an 120i, Mum drives an E46. All in all, we love our bimmers, and I know how much of a step up this car is, compared to the non M's. I absolutely love my car, and if possible, I would never sell it - It's been a dream of mine to have since I was a teenager. Owning it has been a pleasure. Unfortunately life gets in the way As mentioned, there is a genuine reason for the trade, I just don't want to make it too public. With the inevitable happening, I may as well enjoy some power that the 335 has to offer! Thanks for the input, but preaching to the choir haha

1 pointGood to hear Nick. Why worry about pros and cons? Just get one of each!!
-
1 pointI've got a few of them, don't think I have 4. But they don't fit over my valves properly IIRC and I didn't get them painted. You've just reminded me of them, I might try and find them.

1 pointThis was incredible. Still discussing the pro's and 'cons' of each model. Somewhat surprisingly the M3 is probably what I would go after. But they are all so sick. Amazing line up.

1 pointIf possible I would strongly suggest to keep the M3, a 335i is never going to be an E46 M3. Totally different feel / vibe from the ground up being developed at different times by BMW. Having driven both cars on a number of occasions the M3 E46 was the last older style raw car they made and with a high level of quality inside and out. The 335i generation feels more more appliance based, has the feeling of being built to a stricter cost. Another obvious point is a genuine M car vs non M car - quite a different package. Then again, you were after a touring so I guess it's for practicality reasons?

1 pointJust stuck some 18 tsws on it and waiting for some tints but overall a pretty cool car can't upload any of the e91 as my phone takes high res photos and tried to downsize under 2mb but can't but here's the m3 anyway

1 pointCheck the attached rates sheet. Your 98 will be too old - max age is 16 years. 2001+ will be OK. I put 4 years on my 2001 210kms E53 v8. MBI Gold rates sheet.pdf

1 pointYou could go bucket racing for under $1000 and have twice the fun. I kinda miss it myself but have nowhere to stash everything.
