Here is more pics of her. Do we have a place where members post their cars. Would love to see what other 330ci in Silbergrau Metallic look like. I remember with my old one back in the day sitting for a couple hours polishing these wheels with Mothers. Will do that when she comes and post a pic ?

To all those who don’t believe in the E92 M3 and those contemplating buying one, just do it, after you find the right one of course. Searched for almost three years for my NZ new Competition Pack, found it, bought it, love it. I have just completed a 2200 kms road trip in 96 hours around the North Island. Loved every second of it; main roads, back roads, cruising, hooning. The car is capable, quick and an absolute pleasure to drive. The last sector of my road trip was Mercer to Whangarei - 215 kms at cruising and ‘slightly’ over legal speeds. 18 litres of 98. Unless I’m mistaken that’s 8.4 l/100kms. That is hard to believe from a car with grunt to burn, a noise to die for, and an M3 badge on its tail. Don’t know anything about the 335i but this I do know, as my BMW mechanic tried to push me that way as well, a 335i is not and never will be an M3.

Are you wanting 17s or 18s? I have tried a few different combos playing with different offsets. Its a bit tricky to find wheels in the correct offset. Some guys seem to compromise by getting the wrong offset and then stretching the tyres to fit - for me thats a complete no no as I would never want to compromise handling. I have a few different size offset wheels that you are welcome to come over and test fit to see what works best before you go out and buy wheels.

Yeah not a great choice, I would look at another Jag but not ex Singapore. But it would ? be warranted and that would be extended. Leaky gaskets suspension issues couldn’t get sorted, coolant leaks, all sounds familiar ?. Had about 6k or repairs and still not right. Most of that under warranty but excess still paid around 1500 Funny i I don’t have a problem with pretty unreliable BMWs that cost under 10k but a 30k unreliable couldn’t cut it. Moved to a E550 2010 and zero issues ...

personally i would avoid 19 for our bad roads but its up to you. do you plan to ride stock height or lower? springs or adjustable suspension? it all depends..

Don't know this wagon specifically, but have bought an X3 (a petrol, manual and also UK import) and E60 M5 (what a beast!) from this dealer previously. Dealt with Andrew (who owns the business) directly both times and he made it a simple and easy process. Too easy actually ?. He also provided excellent after sales service and sorted issues promptly. I have no vested interest in Euroland other than as a previous repeat customer. Give them a call if you're interested - nothing gained, nothing lost ☺️. Hope this helps!

E46 non M best fit/offset (imo) would be something along the lines of: 18x8.5 front ET 30 with 235 40 18 18x9-9.5 rear ET 40 with 255 or 265 35 18 this will allow for a flush or near flush fitment without sacrificing tyre size (no stretch) and no rubbing. If you want to go for a square fitment then you could do the same 18x8.5 front and rear but i would presonally go at least 9" on the back with a 255 rubber minimum width. now if you want to do stancelife and go adjustable suspension you could even do 18x8.5 ET 13 with a 215 35 18 tyre on the front and 18x9.5 ET 25 rear with 234 35 18 but thats kind of stupid for a road car. if you want 19's then keep the same width/offset specs as above but tyre size will be 235 35 19 and 265 30 19.

When you think of a much, much better way of doing things... ...just a few moments after you've gone past the point of no return.

Really says something when a BMW owner unloads a car for having too many issues!

After that, things went on hold for a few months while I tried to figure out what I wanted to do for wheels. A little while ago, I picked up a 5 lug adapter kit from a r3vlimited user. I was planning to use it on the coupe, but then abandoned that idea when I got a front RX7 brake kit (designed for the factory 4 lug). Well, I was still hoping to use the RX7 brakes on the touring with the TRM C1 wheels. But that would require spacers (nope), or chopping the front struts up and having the coilover sleeve shortened and welded lower down. That seemed like a lot of work. So a few weeks ago, I decided to do a 5 Lug conversion on the touring. The front would be done with the adapter kit, standard E36 front wheel bearing/hub, E36 328i rotors and calipers. The rear would be done with trailing arms from a 318ti, and potentially E34 brakes at some point. Remember those 16" Style 5 wheels I picked a while back? They're going on the touring. Freshly wrapped in some Michelin rubber. That is some good motivation right there. The touring had been sitting under a cover for a few months. Time to get it airborne again. I had already managed to source the parts I needed for the front end, so I jumped on that first. The E30 front brakes and hubs all came off without an issue. I mocked up the hub adapter with the E36 hubs, Things fit nicely. I slapped a used 328i rotor on and got a wheel bolted on to check for fitment. Not too shabby. The main nut of the hub adapter doesn't have a locking tap like the factory setup. Instead, it uses a left hand threaded locking nut. This requires a thread on the inside of the end of the spindle. This is done with a left hand M16x1.5 thread. Quite and annoying size to find. Ready to go with the caliper adapter. New rotors with some EBC greenstuff pads. All bolted up. Here you can see the L/H locking bolt. Not bad. So this is basically where I am at the moment. I'm still waiting on trailing arms to do the rear end 5 lug. I'm going to drop the whole rear subframe, clean it up, and then paint it. Then I'll rebuild it with the 318ti arms, some poly bushings and new stainless brake lines. If anyone around Christchurch has some E36 318ti compact rear suspension available, I'm interested. That's it for the massive post dump. Peace.

Nup you can't sorry. You will need a total monitor retrofit which will require rear mount radio tuner, antenna amplifier + video module or nav unit (for screen graphics) & the harness assy. The 16:9 monitor is just a dumby (apart from the tape deck) - all the modules are remote to it in the rear of the vehicle. Also - is the 16:9 monitor a specific X5 unit? Many are sold as fitting E38/39 & 53. The X5 unit is different as the screen pixels are set for the different viewing angle in the X5 So, either a lot of work & cost to retrofit the 16:9 or - go back to original radio (will plug into existing plug) or another Chinavin unit.

Haven't been ballsy enough to use steel wool, but I fully restored six panels of custom glass worth $250K each that had been damaged by acid rain using 3M Perfect-It rubbing compound on the end of a De Walt buffer @1500rpm. Followed by 3M Machine Polish, then Ultrafine. Making this car related, I used the same method to remove concrete stains from my old man's Merc windows.

All that has been listed is good but what about the stuff a bit to the left of mainstream, Stuff like Shriekback - All lined up , Nemesis Depeche Mode - every thing counts, Photographic Yazoo - dont go , situation Sisters of mercy -This corrosion, Dominion Thomas Dolby - windpower, Blinded with science Eurythmics - paint a rumour , Aqua The Shamen - ebeneezer goode , Move any mountain And thats just a quick browse through one CD rack. Bring back the 80s and Fast E30s

I bought a car from them a few years ago when they were called something else ("buy a car online"). Wouldnt buy from them again based on how Andrew treated me (basically acting like I was too poor to even bother with, until I flashed the wad of cash, and even then I caught him talking sh*t about me behind my back to his mechanic).

All is right Kyu, only a bruised Ego, shunted a Swift in the rear so hard that it bent both cars' chassis rails.
