I was thinking the price was optimistic mostly due to the high kms/history but OTOH... https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/bmw-535-m535i-originale-carnet-entretien-gasoline-green-70dd517a-715e-ac37-e053-e350040a82b1?cldtidx=5&cldtsrc=listPage&searchId=-617030019 https://www.autoscout24.com/offers/bmw-535-i-m-paket-e28-h-zulass-unikat-scheckheft-gasoline-white-c8ddee55-996d-4037-ae17-e773a767cd13?cldtidx=4&cldtsrc=listPage&searchId=-617030019 (none for sale in UK at present)

Wow, that is nice!! Not sure it’s $40k nice though... fairly close I would say, and for the right buyer maybe it’s worth $40k. *Provided it is a genuine M535i NZ New. I’m not an E28 head, so couldn’t say for sure - looks to have the right bits on it.

Sub-10K is not a heck of a lot of money for a ton of car. They're great value wagons these. GLWS, yours looks like a particularly good buy.

Not even kidding, that would be the options i'd want, specially with the M cloth interior.

Off topic but this is on par with the $19k e30 auto. Dude is apparently firm with the price.

Purchase price for 325i\328i 6 cyl manual and repairs id still go with the E36 myself, last BMW with glass headlights too. The E36 Ti is the closest BMW ive driven that felt like the E30.

A couple of snaps from Euro & Brit Classic Car Show this weekend. Was a cool day, definitely going back next year. The neighbouring Mercedes Club got sulky over us taking up too much room, made for some nostalgic rivalry. The 15" basketweaves are all refinished now too. I'm so stoked and can't wait to fit some tyres. Any recommendations from anyone on good 205/55r15? Seems to be an odd size with a limited amount of makes. Might go with Falken Ze914 as the reviews and price are pretty good. Also after some form of wheel sealer/wax make cleaning the cross weave design alot easier.

Thought I'd update with some info on this car. 1 of 10 worldwide, 1 of 4 RHD, in this spec (OG on m tex) according to production numbers. Probably a handful running around that have had the interior swapped in. But as far as factory optioned cars this would be one of the rarest combinations outside of individual spec cars. Safe to say we won't be seeing another in NZ.
