2 pointsI am certainly posting pics! Perhaps even more oddly, I also sometimes see the 'might be' message, and not the picture. 😕

1 pointNo, none of them came with Vaders, and you couldn't option them in to a non-M3 (not even an option code available), they were strictly M3 exclusive. If anything other than an M3 has Vaders they've been swapped in.

1 pointKinda the point with BMW N\A 6's and one of the reason why ive never owned a turbo version. You actually can use the full rev range without getting too illegal.

1 pointMy mate has a 318is coupe and he prefers driving my compact. The 4 cylinder feels more at home and performs better with the lighter body and basic rear end. Still think a well sorted 318is manual would provide some entertainment on a twisty road. Least you can use the full rev range without getting into too much trouble.

1 pointNew front end is on & looking a fair bit more balanced. There's a bit going on, but it matches the rear diffuser aesthetically, and the front diffuser flattens out the underbody bit in front of the wheels (so should at least be more functional than the Strassentech or the CSL splitter by themselves). Side skirts will finish the aero off nicely; but I'm still not 100% on whether I'll fit them or not as it is low. I'm not going to run the splitter struts as there's no real need; I've bolted it in 6 places underneath.

1 point@Moupe knowing the speed people come round that corner more likely to end with the off side being collected by an inattentive Kia driver 😬

1 pointLooks a little bit “busy” to me in the last photo - lots of lines and angles going on. I will wait until you post up the front view of it on the car before making a call.

1 pointHard to say - recently a couple of sets of 16x7 (one was 4x100 and one was 5x120) sold for $3,500ish pretty quickly - they were fully refurbed though. Not sure if 17" 5x120 is less desirable or not - 4x100 wheels certainly are subject to E30 tax - would expect to be $2500ish though? New decent quality reps in this size are about $1900 plus shipping and tax - these would need tidying up but are the real thing.

1 pointYeah pads are a fun one, only know until you really try them. Low dust is the main priority, had some dusty types in the past. Just a nightmare. Definitely wont be a garage queen, gotta enjoy these things!

1 pointI do like a bit of nerdyness alright, my abilities are nothing compared to my brother however I'm determined to have it sound good ... for me that means NO raspy barky horridness !! Current thinking is 2.25" secondaries and then 3" single exhaust with a good long straight through resonator and might try and see whats around for a rear muffler that is E46 compatible with single 3" inlet.

1 pointNo update for quite some time but things have been happening (quit my job just before Christmas, last day yesterday and have 3 weeks off before starting a new one in Feb... garage time...) and the Biarritz has been the main beneficiary... It now has better front seats fitted, a facelift steering wheel, windows that work, better grilles, the spare M5 wheels have been painted an Audi Mineral Gray and fitted, the spare M5 mirrors have been painted, and a mate gave me a front bumper in need of repairs etc. that is better than the existing. So I'm at the stage where fitting is about to happen... Also some vanos seals have been ordered, and next week I think I'll crack into the chain guides replacement. I need a daily work car for the new job and this one will be it I think, the others as backup... The Titan has developed an annoying oil leak that I can't quite sus, either a upper sump or lower timing cover, or maybe a bent lower sump. I've put it away in storage and forgotten about it for a while. I really need to fix that and a couple of paint defects before selling.

1 pointAgreed, my stage 2+ E91 was stupid to drive. Yes, it passed anything, anywhere, anytime, but it was very much at the risk of my licence/jail. Around town it was far too much power to use. It was pointless.

1 pointI've had the 'full sauce' N52B30 (in a 130i manual) and it isn't really that fast (or worth modding up to imho). You'd be better off selling yours and getting a 135i. There was a manual N55 one sold recently for 17k. That's a better proposal in my mind.

1 pointIt's a setting you need to code in, I used NCS expert with a DCan cable to change the VO (vehicle order) specs from Japan to NZ. This is from experience with my E70, which I think is the same as E60/61 and E90/91. It's simple once you know what to do, but it's a steep learning curve as well.

1 pointWell the latest biarritz 540 has failed a WOF on left front strut and right tie rod. The plan now is to give biarritz a few hand me downs of good parts from topaz and spoil topaz with new struts and tie rods. The exhausts will also be swapped over as I prefer the factory pipe out the back. The non factory exhaust currently on topaz is subtlety louder and sounds quite nice which hopefully will appeal to a buyer of biarritz... I've also replaced the upper rear suspension control arms and sway bar links on biarritz with some (much) better ones I had lying around (thanks Jared), and all the door cards / vapor barriers have been checked and re-secured. Sunroof closing issue fixed, it hadn't been closing since 2015 as the small wind deflector was sitting too high... simple 1 minute adjustment. Xenon headlights polished and adjusters replaced, tail lights replaced (thanks Adrian). Couple of PDC sensors replaced and all working now. Washer hoses to windscreen replaced. Rear brake hoses replaced. Leather recolouring is ongoing. Coming along nicely. The M5 wheels also have been sold. Standard sports 66's will find their way on.

1 point... and another - the price I could not refuse - and shod with M5 wheels - Individual Biarritz blue with extended leather / Premium DSP / rear blind / rear PDC / glass roof / heated seats etc. Needs a lot of love but will look to on sell in medium term once I've gone over it to some degree. Already sorted heaps of stuff, but with guide fragments in the oil pickup - timing chain guides will need doing...
