The build tag lists it as an M535iA, and from what I have read about this gen the M535i was just a bodykit and interior upgrade model, auto was an option. The current owner has certainly addressed all the common problem child areas during his ownership. Someone will get a well sorted car, unfortunately thanks to the current world we live in the circle of potential owners of these classics is shrinking. While these are no E28 M5, the price gulf between them is huge and I think the look of the shark nose era of cars is amazing regardless of model. And I only recently learnt that there were a few companies of the era that did a touring conversion using various items from Merc and BMW parts bin. Looks a little out of whack from some angles, but it's a touring ......

When I was selling my S6 I had people arrange to collect the car multiple times. One of them even offered to pay a deposit and I stupidly trusted he was being genuine and told him we could just sort it the next day all in one go when he came to get the car. Sent him my address and he said he would text me when he was leaving the following day. Never got a text. Never showed up. Then I had people offering less than half of my already fair asking price, with one guy adamant his 2K offer was doing me a favour. Could have taken the near new intake manifold off (which looking at the receipts was 4.7K for the part), and there would be more than 2K just in that part alone. Listed the car on trademe and it sold for my asking price within 24 hours. Trademe still came with its own special set of time-wasters but way less severe than Facebook Marketplace. Only other place that might be worth a shot is a BMW Facebook group like "Strictly BMW New Zealand".

Exactly, any e30 manual coupe with a price of 5 digits starting with 1 is already a win these days

I’ve tried a bunch of phone holders and cradles. This is it. I’ve found it! By far the best MagSafe holder. Super strong magnet and the clip that goes on the vent tightens by screw. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Vent-Mount-360-Degree-Magnetic-Phone-Holder-Mount-for-MagSafe-Metal-Base-/403007765052?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0

I like it that the thieves unplugged everything rather than just cutting the wires as they did when stealing my stuff. Cheers...

Same here. Matt red-looking Honda Accord on SH2 southbound from Napier - first came screamin up a sliproad and used hard shoulder to pass a couple of cars before diving into the line of traffic, then zigzaggng through traffic along SH2 before heading off to Flaxmere. Very, very noisy car, coupla young 'uns (they all are these days ) in it. I had a pic of the car. Thought about *555ing them but... Where's the point? At home I checked and both WoF and rego are out byt over 6 months. 105 form, and... Yup - same pointless result. Maybe it is just a 'feel good' form for people who've felt strongly enough to report bad driving? In the meantime, the TV ad tells me the police are keeping speeds down to make our roads safer. 😡

OMG, I filled out a 105 Police report form. I don't know what I was expecting as a confirmation of submission email but this is just fantastic : *** This is an automatically generated email, please do not reply. *** This message is to acknowledge receipt of your 'Report a Bad Driver - Community Roadwatch Report'. If every offer I had accepted came through (instead of ghosting me) I could've sold the car 3-4 times by now. So many time wasters.

Someone please make me an offer and save me from the constant barrage of "is this still available" and "would you take $xxx and a pitty pup?". God i hate marketplace.

Some “pieces of plastic” in my wife’s words arrived today. She’s right, they are pieces of plastic, but they’re special in that, unlike my current ones, these ones don’t have any scratches on them. Was struggling to find them in stock anywhere so jumped on a pair I found being sold out of Lithuania. they arrived and they have a manufacture date of end of Jan this year, so they can’t be THAT out of stock haha.

Hey guys. Up for sale again is my 2007 530d Motorsport. I have recently serviced it and it is due at 135ks, currently sitting at 125xxx kms RUCS due at 135k so 10k RUCs. I have not been using it much at all this year due to moving to Hamilton and having to commute (Motorcycle is my vehicle of choice for this). Very tidy condition. There is some wear on the upper windshield rubbers front and rear (common issue). Has Bridgestone Tyres all round with legal tread. Will have a fresh WOF when sold. Rego Expires in December. I have taken care of this car meticulously and it was my pride and joy but I really needed a wagon so purchased a 2010 320d Touring for the dogs and kids. Has NZ Navigation, Bluetooth calling, heated seats, all sorts of nice options, xenon headlamps, headlamp washers, etc etc, ex UK car but has been in NZ since 2011 and I am the 2nd NZ owner I believe Has a K&N air filter installed. Has two keys. Trans has been serviced too. Test drives welcome. Viewing in Glenfield during business hours as I am still working on the shore till my workshop sells. The only non factory item is the rear Alpina style wing I have put on which is not shown in the pictures. After 11k firm. Lowest KM example for sale. Have not listed on trademe yet but I will soon. Also the personalized plate is not part of the sale. will come with a new government issue plate Contact SJ 02102916373 for viewing and test drives Car isn't being used at present so is in storage at my shop.

I think this looks absolutely fantastic and I don't think the auto would be an issue in a torquey cruiser like this. I'm not up to speed with E28's and if they did Auto M535i's but it certainly appears to have all the options ticked. If it's 'only' a heavily optioned auto 535i with an Msport kit, would explain the pricing gulf with the recent (immaculate) M535i's.

Slightly OT but related to BMW styling. Saw one of these at CJ BMW yesterday, actually a very cool looking car.

This is apparently a thing now. Thought it had stopped in the early 2000s. This was in Paris, France. Happened twice to this guy apparently. 6 month wait for parts.
