Thanx Greg... I'll check ETK at work Monday morning.. they may be the same. There are two on the motor, but these are not handed L & R. I swapped them to confirm my diagnosis

I know this is a long shot... I'm after a TBA for a 2008 E92 M3 TBA = Throttle body actuator

I'm not trying to be negative, but glue, screws, rivets & sealant does not fix rust in the structural areas you have indicated in this thread. I admire your positivity & desire to move on.. however as I said before, you need to check this vehicle more thoroughly before spending more money on it.

If I saw that. I'd be taking a real good look at the rest of the car before I spent a further dollar or dollars on it. You can't repair that with body filler...you only hide it before it pops again or the car breaks in half in an accident.

I'm unsure whether this is appropriate or not as I only understand English. I'll close it now.. if another mod understands what's going on they can reopen it if they like.

You cannot put everything that is documented on the cert plate.... however... be assured it is documented. If you don't play by the rules it may come back and bite you. Remember that when a car is certed, every other change you make must have re certification after the original certification. Ignorance of the law is not a defense excuse. The only leniency you may get will be from a judge after you injure or kill someone. A certifier must work within the legal guidelines.

Can you or them elaborate the meaning of that statement ??

+1... or fix window, sell car, house etc and move out of town... maybe even migrate. If you leave bag, wallet and personal items where they can be seen your only looking for trouble. Locked in the hidden compartments in your boot is a better place but still not wise. A thief normally just does a smash and grab. They can't spend time at a crime scene.

We use either G3 full synthetic or 75w80 Synthese Full synthetic for harder use--- all Elf products with no issues

Unfortunately these come with higher maintenance than a 6 cylinder version. The N42 & N46 are renown for cooling system & oil leak issues. More so than the E46 6 cylinder models which also have issues. The economy is out weighed by the maintenance costs

Don't do that just yet... give me a call in the morning Ph: (09)2722546

The market will determine the value... personally I have no constructive opinion on your price

I suggest you continue to drive one of your Toyotas untill such time you realise you need profesional help to fix this WOF issue with your car. Doing what you have done achieves nothing with this sort of fault
