That will always and always has happened. What I find wrong is having to buy a $1,000 worth of tools to change a alternator belt. An example is the new BMW 3.0 Litre diesel motors..they don't use tensioners anymore. It uses a special limited life multi rib stretchy belt

The manufacturers, especially the Europeans have now decided they can't stop the copying of diagnostic & written material. They are now introducing their new wave of protectionism by manufacturing cars that need a special tool to do everything... and I do mean everything... it's getting stupid. The same way they are introducing technology for the sake of technology and getting away from what a car is meant or should be used for.

Getting the info is easy....buying the tools to do it is the difficult part

Thanks Guys... it was a real busy day.... spraying weed killer on a drive that's nearly a kilometre long. Had family over for tea and that topped it off. BBQ'd pork , roast veges and quite a few beers

International shipping - 'Airport only shipping'?
*Glenn* replied to e30ftw's topic in General Discussion
You will have to go to the designated airport and get the goods through customs and pay any duty imposed on the goods. Unless you use and pay for an agent to do it for you. -
I suggest you get it scanned by someone with a brain to determine exactly what is wrong before attempting this and that in an attempt to solve the problem.

I run a E30 medium case with E30 M325 Axles. You need to modify the Abs speed sensors though and the chassis for the medium case diff to fit. You can give me a call or come and have a look at what I've done with mine. My cars at work

These actions by man could also be why we now have a higher incidence of cancers these days. I'm told we all have a little bit of Hiroshima in us... and the rest no doubt.

A common fault. You get to the sender unit under the rear seat, drivers side. There's a DIY on here somewhere

It'll be a broken wire on the fuel tank sender unit inside the petrol tank. Where are you located ?
