  1. I know what you are saying, but this isn't true. I know 2 65+ year olds who have been pinged. (Same area, same officer?). Big fine. They were on plates with font very close to the real ones, not way different like your one.

^ you can't fix clear coat in that condition. What have you done to your wheels? Plastidip? Are they black or grey? Full car image?
  3. Stop being modest - this is top tier. Did you consider under drive pulleys? Any mods planned? Or all OEM?
  4. Cool - any number for the other years? (Or total numbers?) Had no idea there were so few!
  5. I think the oldest one's didn't have strut braces. Mine is early 03 (pre FL) and has one. The 16:9 isn't always Nav though - mine is the trip computer, radio and music tagging only. A mint facelift 'stripper' with low KM and mint condition would be desirable. It's all about the CSL though really - I can't see any others being truely collectable.
  6. For a 'normal' M3 I reckon; 2003.5+, Nav H/K audio, 19"s, and personally give me half leather. I accept 3 pedals will continue to demand a premium, rightly or wrongly. (Regarding 2003.5+ though, if the bearing recall has been done, unless it's one of the really late ones with the extras previously discussed, what's the 'real' difference?)
  7. I loath to even chime with an SMG defense post, but it's just so painful reading comments form people that obviously don't really know. If you don't have the bank to fix an SMG pump, then an M3 is probably not the car for you. That 'risk' aside, I would take (a 'CSL flashed') SMG all day, every day. (And I have only ever had 3 pedal cars before). CSL is the clear collector choice. The CS is cool, but will never have real collector value IMO.

  9. if you are talking about the e30, not sure, but this is the centre....
  10. Just a tip. "gauging interest / not in a hurry to sell / if I don't get my price I will keep" doesn't work. You paint yourself as an 'unmotivated seller' and people are discouraged from this. If you want more interest from the forum, this is how you list a vehicle.
  11. The xTool is pretty good. I have the bluetooth version. Scan, clear, live data. Pricey, but i'll have it forever so it's an investment.
  12. did they even make an iphone 5 one?

Congrats on the purchase! Now just cause your name is Amber, don't think you can copy me and change all the lights to amber!
  15. OP should be the template for all For Sale listings. GLWS, looks like a great buy.
  16. ^ It is. I work there too. I think I saw your 530i (like your sig?) - Was thinking that is a very tidy 5er - wonder if he is on the forum?
