  1. Waiting for a west Auckland lotto winner.
  2. You must have come across a real dud mate. They required to give you a written appraisal price. All they can go off is previous sales evidence. Anything else is a prediction/guessing which is irresponsible. Therefore in most cases in this market an auction is the best/only way to achieve the current market value. Rateable Valuations are mass appraisals. There is no inspection of the property, and they use a range to methods to index what the new one will be. It isn't the current market value. That being said, people do look at it as a guide and to provide some relativity. If your rateable value is $100k less than a similar property next door that recently sold, people will wonder why. That doesn't mean yours will sell for less, but it's not 'good'. The rateble value is public info, any decent agent would have looked that up prior to meeting you. Private sellers often kid them selves they did well saving the commission. Pretty common for traders to target private sales for cheap deals.
  3. So do tell, how do you think they should price your property?
  4. If you haters had bought in AK at the start of this thread, you could have sold now and paid cash for your rural shed.
  5. Do the head lights work / full strength? Has it been outside? Sounds like it could be battery. Cold weather, left for 4 days, resetting ecu...
  6. It's just the knob/boot combo that makes the lever look longer, right? Also is that a generic rubber mat? Registering interest
  7. Best just stick to the M3 to be safe.
  8. Can't be your first one? Metal impeller upgrade?

Try a clay glove, they are meant to be way better. Or there are some cheaper bars here

    BMW 135i + V8

I like Matt Farrah. I also like the 1M shape better than e92. This answers the 'what if it had the v8' question well.
  11. ^ mean. You need a 190E wiper
  12. If you buy/sell something with the intent to make a profit you need to pay tax. Pretty simple.
  13. Inb4 e30... For the money, e46 is hard to beat. You could get a 335i to go with it for the price of an e90!
  14. I know the M3 you purchased, nice car, congrats! Have a chat to Ray @ HellBM - a few things you can do to improve the stock experience
  15. ^ That's the GTI's best bit! I love the 'missing' in between gears!

    Quick Questions

Thanks GJM - yea too risky on paint. Another quick one.... I have projector fogs, but want to go back to OEM. However the projectors are H3 and just a 'spade' terminal connection. If I want stock (9006) - do I just use an adapter like this?

    Quick Questions

Yeah - this is the re-occur. What would be the liquid you allude to?
  18. OP - I think of it like DJs. When CDJs came out, they was a backlash, 'it's not real DJ'ing" .... "vinyl only sets" etc etc. Big names would state in interviews how they would only play authentic vinyl. I used to be like that - only owned manual cars, would never consider an automatic. Ever. Then 2 things happened. 1) I got a bit older 2) I tried SMG2 / DSG / DCT. Guess what. Just like the DJs people eventually realised there are massive advantages to new technology. No once cares about 'vinyl only' DJs now. Bottom line for me is; if you track it more than 6 times a year, I would consider 6 speed. But if it's your daily, it's a no brainer. Like previous posts, you'll never go back once you have lived with a performance car with a 'clutchless' box.

    Quick Questions

Hey - quick question, My washer bottle is clogged up, and it's a real PITA to get to the bottle and pump screen. Is there anything (liquid) I can put in the reservoir to unclog it?
  20. Hell BM & Tom sorted this for me. And every day I am thankful...

    'THE' M3...

ah ok - so you have noises. I understand they are a 'ticky' engine anyway, but good to get it sorted if there is work needed. Great progress!
