The pies Zim served up in the last 5 really let them down.

Duh, it's so you get the real effect of driving on ice.

Is this an old member's car?
-
if you mean put HK in, don't bother - they aren't good. Go aftermarket.
-
Those narrow crests where it changes direction 0_o Sound when you are in it is pretty sick really - they are an animal and IMO too fast for NZ roads/limits.

What makes you think they are reps?

Probably 4-5 section passes with the cutting pad and compound. Removing the salt damage was harder than removing the swirls. Some bits I had to use a lot of pressure. (Then 2-3 passes with polish)

Being at the beach, the salt air really hurt my paint. It would get wet, bake in the sun, dry with the salt marking the paint, and repeat. A wash and even a hand polish would still leave marks. A crappy detail prior to purchase also left holograms and swirls. So a paint correction was in order.... I tried to nerd out on research, so ask any questions. Very happy with the results. Here is a album with some before, during, after shots.

Good you have a quality warranty. If you have the sport suspension option, then yes, they are quite low for a stock car. -
The comment before yours was written when you bought your M3! haha! EDIT: Start a thread, we'd all love to see details and photos!

I know what you are saying, but this isn't true. I know 2 65+ year olds who have been pinged. (Same area, same officer?). Big fine. They were on plates with font very close to the real ones, not way different like your one.

^ you can't fix clear coat in that condition. What have you done to your wheels? Plastidip? Are they black or grey? Full car image?
-
Stop being modest - this is top tier. Did you consider under drive pulleys? Any mods planned? Or all OEM?
-
Cool - any number for the other years? (Or total numbers?) Had no idea there were so few!

I think the oldest one's didn't have strut braces. Mine is early 03 (pre FL) and has one. The 16:9 isn't always Nav though - mine is the trip computer, radio and music tagging only. A mint facelift 'stripper' with low KM and mint condition would be desirable. It's all about the CSL though really - I can't see any others being truely collectable.

For a 'normal' M3 I reckon; 2003.5+, Nav H/K audio, 19"s, and personally give me half leather. I accept 3 pedals will continue to demand a premium, rightly or wrongly. (Regarding 2003.5+ though, if the bearing recall has been done, unless it's one of the really late ones with the extras previously discussed, what's the 'real' difference?)

Disagree, but here's your boy.

I loath to even chime with an SMG defense post, but it's just so painful reading comments form people that obviously don't really know. If you don't have the bank to fix an SMG pump, then an M3 is probably not the car for you. That 'risk' aside, I would take (a 'CSL flashed') SMG all day, every day. (And I have only ever had 3 pedal cars before). CSL is the clear collector choice. The CS is cool, but will never have real collector value IMO.
