  2. ^Tennis is also awesome!
  3. I watch it, while the racing can be boring, the pre race politics, hype and speculation is cool. P3 and Q are pretty good most meetings. And there were some exciting races this year I thought.
  4. ^ yeah but they are pretty sht IMO. Even the low/mid $20s ones I have seen aren't great. You need to be mid/high $20s for a decent one (sticker). I would rather have a higher spec 325i for very low $20s, or less. (Unless you are looking to tune a turbo or something) I don't know a lot about the 5 series, but if you can handle the size, they do look like better value. I think even the e9x is too big personally, so a 5 series is too much for me.
  5. There was one listed last month, sold in days. UK import, grey, around $20k. Looked nice. You'll be waiting forever. As above, go for a 325i or man up and get a turbo.

Edit you are right Glenn - they are belt driven. Just negotiating.... Thanks.

    Audi S3

Thanks Glenn, still running the numbers, but might take you up on the offer thanks. (I have read conflicting things about cam belt - some people say 2010 S3 is chain driven?)
  8. I'm close to buying an Audi S3. Talk me out of it please? (Or into it.... it seems like a good option). Figuratively, what could go wrong? ~90km 2010 facelift DSG Autosure Warranty

    His and hers

Awesome. Like all these new sports cars, so much power for the street. Do you daily the CSL Tom?
  10. I really like the wheels. I usually hate all but lip spoilers, but the clubsport one is kinda cool. Now stop spending and start saving for the conversion!

    1M price

About $80k depending on km and condition.
  14. The CSL used a smaller, lighter battery (480CCA?) so you could save a couple of bucks and grams with that. My M3's battery also last about 10 years.
  15. Passenger on that ride too? Wonder if they were OK?

Radical maneuver painting the grills in the car. They are super easy to pop out FYI.
  17. Hello, I am looking to get out of the potentially troublesome (touch wood) 120i and considering an e90 325i, but am a little unclear on the engines and their relative issues. From wikipedia I see it notes 2005-2008 as N52 but 2007-2011 as N53. I assume the cross over is in different markets? Is the N52 a decent motor without big flaws? Is the N53 worth the extra $ ? (ignoring it is a newer car and LCI) Be interested in your expert opinions Thanks, Nick

Looks nice. Congrats. Sunroof? What MY year? Are you going to paint the diffuser? Be interesting to see/hear what lowering springs are like.

    I would daily this, daily.
  20. Thanks - yes already gone to German Kollision Haus. Seeing as they are the 'official' BMW repairer, I'm sure they'll do a good job. Don't ladies, it's not the M3...
  21. Thanks Glen - going to see Dave today.
  22. I know this gets asked often, but staff and businesses change, so wanting a 'current' recommendations please. Full insurance job - so cost is not a factor. Prefer central or West Auckland. Thanks guys.
