What did you do with the rear spoiler? Can't read the tickets, what did you pull, terminal and RT?
-
Block plug is easy.
-
If you can't turn the heater on you'll need to flush that separately which should be as simple as removing the heat control valve and pumping water through it. Not sure how you can flush the block properly without removing the drain plug and removing or opening the thermostat... why can't you remove those?

k?

Wow. That's a dude that has the tools and knows his trade. That would be as straight as any custom or hot rod out there. But no. Just no.
-
Wow, really? OMG. If you've done this properly then it's an epic effort and good props. Looking forward to the pics.

Early e36 325i with zf manual transmission information
M3AN replied to BMRBOI's topic in General Discussion
I asked that question the other week and was told in the case of the 5 speed the ZF is stronger and more desirable. -
^ Where did you get the refurb kit?

"...for the, frankly inferior, E46 M3 CSL..." I think he's doing the CSL quite the disservice there. An E30 M3 would be fun but the CSL is an animal.
-
I accept and agree with what you're saying Jon but the impact can't have been that great if none of the airbags or the bonnet bolts fired right? Surely not enough to dismount the engine or bend a rail?
-
I'll take the Guibo, could be keen on the exhaust as well.
-
"I didn't think it was possible to sh*t yourself to death." - the child in me found that amusing. It's just a Top Gear reboot replica, no better, no worse IMHO. Will be interesting to see how it goes without a mainstay British audience.
-
Not sure how to read the dash - could be as low as ~5k kms? Wonder why it has been written off? Airbags and bonnet didn't even fire. If that's the state of news cars, not economical to repair, after apparently moderate impacts then wow.
-
Looks hideous IMHO.
-
Nice one. Hope you got what you were looking for and that it went to a god home!
-
Maybe post it in the TradeMe section. I know nothing about it but it's unusually sensibly priced.
-
The rear shock mount reinforcements (just get Z3 ones, nothing special required) are installed on the top of the shock tower in the boot, you don't need to remove the shock, just the nuts.
-
lol - of course you're correct, I'm an idiot.
-
And you'll need spring compressors. Not for the rears you wont. As a matter of interest how much were the shocks if you don't mind?
-
Nice project Tom. And the green... why? I'm afraid that looks terrible.
-
Welcome! Wheels on the parts car look sweet!
-
Yes, the most difficult thing for me is that I can't drive it either...
-
Yep, that's my mate's one. It's quick, to that I can attest. Edit: and the final detail including undercarriage makes it look brand new.

They generally put the ///M in front of the numbers when designating motorsport editions in the past but this was a dealer, not factory, option. For example ///M 328i but 328is was also used. If I were adding a ///M badge (I probably wouldn't) I'd put it first for sure.
