Number seven....Porsche content I know........

8 A1 block mounts 58.5cm wide, 83cm height on 15mm board. Professionally done. Prefer pickup from Parklands 8083. $95 each. These are heavy (5.7kg), so courier will not be cheap, however can wrap, pack at send at buyers cost and risk. Sadly some are Porsche flavoured............. Call 029 777 4006

No big deal here. Any vehicle fitted with GPS would show speeding in excess of posted limits daily. The media have feasted (falsely) on this for weeks. And Peter Scott fell on his sword anyway, sooo folks this show is over

Writing as an aged M addict would have to disagree with your statement here Peter. The E30 is a purpose build naturally aspirated M car, whereas the 1M is a "parts bin" special 😉

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Bandit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
Here it goes Rohan, including premium. So selling at a considerable loss, (after less than 12 months), the import / compliancing and restoration cost here in NZ was truly eye watering 😪 Over priced today in 2024. https://www.iconicauctioneers.com/1988-bmw-m3-e30-evo-ii-rec11496-1-silverston-0822 -
Good luck with a sale at that price. The global market is saturated with special interest cars for sale, a quick look at Bring a Trailer, and Collecting Cars auction sees a mounting list of brands going RNM. The cars for sale to willing buyers ratio is well adrift, and a good time to buy if something takes your fancy. And most seem to have been acquired when the market was strong, on the back of the Covid surge. "Buy a classic car it's an investment........." the listings read, Yes, right 😮 This writer believes the market is far from reaching the bottom of the bell curve, so hold on for a stormy ride.

These firms do mainly car yard work, so to a price, not a standard. We used them once (Touch Up Guys) and it really was a wallet lightening exercise. Never again, not even to touch up a mark on a wheel. Do it once, do it right 😀

BUMP.... need the space, someone? Price reduced, there are Brand new, never fitted wheel sets. Contact details in the post

From my (limited) experience with corporate structures Bimmersport is probably more aligned with the ethos of BM Workshop and Parts. Now with a well run workshop and parts supply in Christchurch as well as the Auckland locations, an approach to the owner based in Auckland may be worth exploring.

And slippers, a must!

But of course you would wish that........

Any buyer has a pick of 19 today on our favorite selling site TradeMe. And most have been listed for most of this year. Someone has to be first kid off the block, the seller wants the car gone, so no reserve it is.....
-
Huh, something strange cooking here, seller has recipes, they will come in very handy too......
-
Hmm there is the whiff of a "desperate" seller here
-
Concur. In our experience with M cars for example the overall condition is vastly superior to the average NZ new examples available for sale. And, full service histories in the glovebox too. albeit in Japanese. Same with the UK imports we have, vastly superior condition to the NZ new examples when we purchased them. "Buy on condition and provenance"
