Eight months on I receive a letter in the mail from BMW group Replace the front passengers airbag module 0072410100 please arrange with dealer to have undertaken.Is this the same recall or a different one?. It states that dealers have been informed of this measure urrr- how long ago. As Grays sure didn't seem to know much 8 months ago they took my details and said they would forward them on to BMW group.

All good it will depend on the battery it's self quality how it is used and maintained. What time span would you expect from it and what conditions for the warranty to be valid?.

That's not expensive for a battery try getting the correct size, amp hr for your car from a dealer, have a chair handy. Most owners have no idea what goes on in the back ground with the vehicles electrics and the demands that are placed on the battery. A BMW just twists that up a notch or two with so many electrical components in them all demanding correct voltage or current it is only a matter of time that one day it fails and if not looked after ( as most aren't ) that will occur sooner than later.

What engine set up does it have M43 or N42.

King pins all the same up to the 330, rear trailing arms up to the 328, rear wish bones upper and lower on all.

Sweet, have used it twice first time was a full scan and errors all over the place cleared what I could. About a week later did another scan and no more new errors also had a look at turning on the rear window option needs further work. Have to watch out because having large fingers it's easy to hit the wrong key or two at once haha!.. Thanks again for getting it and having it set up.

Have a E46 compact upon opening drivers door chimes begin have had it turned down but still very irritating when having to listen to this when opening the door and working on the car with the drivers door open etc is their an easy way to turned off this option?. If so no doubt controlled by the general module, central body electrics have had a look but nothing obvious stood out in this section am I in the correct place and not seeing it or is it in another area. All the bmw's must have been in plamy today black e36 coupe, red e36 m sport compact, green e46 320i, Silver e46 could only see it in the rear mirror had large flare on front guards, Black e34 low spoiler nice looking wheels and it was clean, Black e39 with schit's gear on some flappy thing on the lower part rear bumper badge on lft gaurd and boot also had CSl type wheels, Black e60 all a blaze with it's halo's on. Their was a couple more e30s all in the space of twenty minutes.
