  1. What a laugh. Good luck to all the sellers. May you find a cashed up cars and coffee regular.
  2. I might buy one at that money. Still just a fat 135i to me
  3. Hmm. No thanks. Could have saved nearly 50K and purchased @GorGasm's E60 M5.
  4. TBH you would be far better off talking to Pramod about the issues than BMW Wellington. He is far more knowledgeable than any of the techs they have at BMW.
  5. Nice. I wonder if it has had it's engine and box rebuilt? That's a good $10K.
  6. Host it yourself. Do you know much about Dockers? https://github.com/discourse/discourse_docker Dockers
  7. Doesn't discord host your server? It's free unless you want premium features.
  8. It might be more common in the US. But none existent in NZ. But even in the US most first owners are leases. 3 - 4 years max.

Very meh. Something to brush over while on the throne. Newshub. Guy starts off that he is only ever driven old Jap cars.... https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/lifestyle/2021/04/review-newshub-puts-the-new-bmw-m3-and-m4-to-the-test.html It's just a story about his experience being invited to the release. Stuff Mostly brochure details. https://i.stuff.co.nz/motoring/124826460/first-drive-bmw-m3-and-m4 Couple of single sentence comparisons between M5, M8, M3, M4
  11. You may need to give them a call for a quote. Everything has changed thanks to Covid. Try to buy from the Western states as getting something out via LA will be far cheaper than Baltimore at the moment.
  12. Actually the best places to watch are Facebook groups for E46's. But Ebay is the safest option. Just use a freight forwarder like Kiwishipping. And pay via paypal for safety. E46's in the US are very cheap unless it is a ZHP. And there are lots of Manuals.
  13. You can bring in a manual conversion from the US for not much. Pretty common there.
  14. List of lackluster cars purchased by those wearing nostalgia goggles. They were good....because they were cheap. Excluding the Monaro. Not cheap or good imo. Poke poke
  15. Hmm those coms faults. That means ISTA was not able to talk to those modules. So you don't know if they have their own issues. You would be best to ask @promo if any of these are majors. Have the cats been removed?
  16. Dump some weight out of them and they honestly feel the same. Having moved from an E30 Series car to an E34 535. I think my E34 was just over 1200kg's last on the scales. My Series car was whatever the series weight was. Jon might remember. 1175kg's with me in it? The extra size takes a bit to get used to though. And the steering is very light and needs to be underdriven.
  17. Fair enough. Curiosity satisfied. I guess I struggle with the pricing because I have had so many E30's. And I just don't see them being worth more than about $15K. Well I feel sorry for those that missed the good old days when they were sub 10K.
  18. So all of these people have only come into money and 80s hype in the last 4 years? I doubt that. 4 years ago you could buy the same cars for less than 15k. They have been cheap for decades. All of a sudden they are not and it's a big deal and they have to have one...
  19. Curious. For those still trying to buy an E30 in this market. Why? Investment?
  20. The rear is ok unless you are side on. Then the prolapse anus becomes apparent.
  21. Every time I go over the hill to Wellington. Is great. Changes fast. I don't let it do it's own thing though. I just the paddles.
  22. There was an E34 IX Touring here in NZ somewhere many moons back. Saw quite a few of them north of DC while living in the US. Nearly all of them were beaters or stock. The extra suspension lift they have makes them look a little odd.
  23. Nice. My Dad and Grandfather had a South African one when I was a kid for a short time. Was green. Early 80s so no idea what happened to it.
  24. Alteration? That was a standard model. The IX E30s and E34s were AWD.
