9GAG still exists? Isn't it just Reddit posts with ads?

Have to fix my stupid FRM first. Quite a mission to get my car over to Promo now I don't work over there. Also finally have been called up for my recall by Winger. They then called back 2 days later and bumped it out another week... They better have the damn part this time. I don't want to have to go all Karen on them.

Prob an Admin feature. I can't see anything.
-
Hmm we prob should have the For Sale section locked so you need a mod to delete a thread. Makes it a good archive. At the moment it is like BookFace. A black hole that sucks up info and destroys it.
-
Ah I like that. But I don't even have the original spoiler.
-
Ah best of luck then. Being in Chch makes it much more viable.

I though about it. But a 130i on the open road would be a nicer car and better spec'd for that price. Might keep an eye on it. Watching that one too. I would just go get it. But I have a trailer. Still have to pay ferry and fuel though. Who's Bimmer4life on TM. They were bidding on those munted BBS wheels the other day too.

I'm feeling left out. I might accidentally buy a 123d for my daily commute on SH2. I am glad you got that black 130i Kyu. I did think about accidentally buying it too. But would have just been bidding against you.

Multiple Bulb failure warnings but no bulbs out
Driftit replied to Driftit's topic in Electrical system
Awesome cheers man. Battery is less than a year old but I feel like it is not as healthy as it could be. Where are you located? -
Passenger Side - Boring movie. But they just drive around in a 2002 the whole movie.

Multiple Bulb failure warnings but no bulbs out
Driftit replied to Driftit's topic in Electrical system
sh*t. FRM is fooked. Pulled the bulbs - Errors Stayed Changed the bulbs - Errors stayed FRM doesn't detect main bulbs are not there. High beam is no longer working. This is going to be fun. Going to have a look at the board first. Some people have had success with cleaning off corrosion. This vehicle is an outside car at the moment. So could be the culprit. Otherwise new FRM. -
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-bmw-engines-idUSKBN27Y2HP Interesting. BMW's Munich plant, which currently makes four, six, eight and twelve cylinder combustion engines, will be retooled with a 400 million euro investment until 2026, to make next-generation electric vehicles, the carmaker said.

So I had leant my car to my brother in law for a couple of weeks. While he was driving it he got a warning that a headlight was out. He checked and it was indeed out. He ran around with one headlight for the time. I chucked in some cheap Trademe HID bulbs and I have to admit I never checked the warnings afterwards. However starting it up the next day I get a heap or warnings. A8B3 FRM: Direction indicator, rear right, faulty frm_70 A8C0 FRM: Rear fog light/adaptive brake light, right, faulty frm_70 A8B0 FRM: Direction indicator, front left, faulty frm_70 Checked the lights and none of the them are out. Cleared the codes from the FRM but they returned at next ignition on. Pulled the rear right bulbs out and they seem fine. They are however the original Osram bulbs. Have my cheap HID's caused an issue? Or is my FRM being a dick? Or maybe the bulbs are all just ready to be replaced?

Can I just quote myself here. Also let me know when you are selling the 535 @GorGasm. I will try convince the wife.

You can also make one. Few guides out there. But I would say it is a vacuum leak too. The CCV may have failed. https://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/techarticles/BMW-3-Series-E90/ENGINE-Crankcase_Breather_Valve_Replacement/ENGINE-Crankcase_Breather_Valve_Replacement.htm

MCM E30 did they choose the right engine?
Driftit replied to Herbmiester's topic in General Discussion
The whole time I didn't realise they were being paid to build it for advertising a game. All makes sense now. Was a low effort speedy build for an advertiser. -
I still have a US address that matches my US credit card. Otherwise I would be in the same boat. This is only temp though.

Freight forwarding for me. Via my old role in DC. But it stops early December so I need to be quick. And I can only get smaller items. Not monitors etc.
-
Yup every year multiples of muppets line up for hours thinking they are going to save hundreds on the latest gear. Only to find the only good deal was the two refurbished monitors that were purchased by staff before the sale and the ton of no name brand usb sticks you will never use. I'll stick to Amazon and Newegg. I haven't been asked to pay GST yet.

Could spend $25K tidying up this one instead. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/540i/listing/2853679073?bof=SGStNtFV

Very true. Discussing PC parts. Apple people show up to inform us we're wrong. Nearly as bad as people with Air Fryers.

MCM E30 did they choose the right engine?

Ah the purity hunters. 1 guy says they ruined it = THE INTERNET IS AWASH WITH PURISTS HATING ON THE SWAP!!!. People swapping engines love to attract hate. Even when it isn't there most of the time... Actually from reading their comments section many are just disappointed that it is another LS swap. Not that it is a swap. -
Coming from an environment where I had to support Macbooks and HP Elitebooks all day every day. I would take the Elitebook every time if I was made to choose. They both failed as often as each other but HP had an amazing hardware team. Apple had nobody. And their helpdesk is run by Concentrix who are next to useless. Plus the HP was a far better looking device. I have a 2008 Dell laptop that is still running well. Even with Win 10 20H2. It's primary job is talking to the Bimmers. All I have done to it is buy a bigger battery and an SSD.

The most common engine swap in the world Easiest option outside of putting in another M20. -
Yeah it was. Just a few days ago. Up around 20K since then. Yup would much rather have an M2. This poor thing looks like it will spend it's life in a garage.
