Do you have that SS manifold sold in NZ? Top mount? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-545944196.htm It's a POS, But works... You need to cut it in the middle and separate the banks of 3 and even then some of the holes do not line up. ALot of people I read when using that also brace it as it cracks with heavier turbos.. Also the dump pipe of the turbo is a near impossible fit, with deadening taken off the firewall best I could fit was a 2 1/4" pipe behind the #6 header and down, because of the fitment and steering rack. Then again if you aren;t using that one....nevermind. lol. Mine was rough as heck, So I probably can't really give that great advice, But things to think about would be O-ringing or going with a MLS Steel headgasket, if your using a 885 head on a 2.7 bottom, the compression is pretty high, 10.5:1 or something?? (Euro 2.7 bottom ends have higher compression and the pistons are flat topped unlike US ETA, or SuperETA ones)

Went for a drive around the bays wearing in some new wheeeeels

Drove all over the place hunting for some, finally found some. Lol would not use washers.

Anyone in wellington have some 5mm spacers for an e30? Can collect today or if you know where I can find some!
-
What were you fitting it to? You say in another topic its from an 85 and you wanted to fit it to your 86? It definitely looks pre facelift to me. How did it not fit??
-
Nice job, Must have been leaking a while to rust up all under there. Atleast it was a simple fix for the water leak, and not the heater core which is a POS. FYI your missing a pedal!

Depends, Are people actually buying them at 4.5K, or are some sellers just dreaming.. -
Yeah on there since April, Surely someone has gone to see it or maybe he just won't budge off of his 5k asking price..

Is this a Bimmersport members? Looks quite tidy, has anyone had a look in person or made this guy an offer? Just curious on behalf of a mate who could be interested.. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-471402934.htm

WTB: E30 Eibach 55mm rear springs - Vogtland 318i front springs
e30ftw replied to e30ftw's topic in Want to buy
I think they're red? Or a dark red. Have a look if you can or send me a pic of the front drop. I'm tryna buy a few sets so when my wheels come next week I have some to play around with and get it to the right height. Send me a pic of front and back if you can so I can see guard clearance. -

Bump for some Vogtland 318i fronts! -
Slave cylinder will be leaking then, sits on the side of the gearbox (usually passenger side).
-
Good stuff man, done a great job looks awesome. Why no direct engine bay pics? Looks like the front rocker cover is pealing lol
-
The clutch is hydraulic so has a master and slave cylinder and a fluid reservoir, check it has enough fluid and make sure the master (found behind the clutch pedal) and the slave, which is on the side of the gearbox are not leaking any fluid which would cause it to lose pressure.. If they aren't leaking then could be the seals inside the slave or the master.

Ahhh I see, Cheers Brent. Mine's covered in surface rust over that bit so can't make it out lol.
-
Where can you find the m20 block numbers to identify what the lower end is? I I can't see much trying to move stuff out of the way but allI can ssee is a 84 stamped between the engine mount arm and where the dizzy would be on a jetronic

facelift rear arches are lower than pre facelift.
