  1. Kick panels tend to get broken, when they drop down and catch on Your foot, glove box latches are prone to breaking - I no notice this one doesn’t have the latch! But the rest of it is pretty likely to be low demand. One man’s crap is another man’s treasure!
  2. $2000 shipped… but yeah probably not to NZ! To be honest re-trimmed full leather interior at US$2000 is pretty good buying. Try to find a set of seats and panels plus to get re-trimmed I would suggest you would be looking at well north of that price. There is still some good buying to be had on some E30 stuff overseas, if it’s something that is easy to ship.
  3. Might be why the roof is a bit rippled.., cutting that hole and banging that monstrosity in there? Oh, I remember when after market sun/roofs were a thing! God knows what they did to the structural integrity of the vehicle? I had a full length webasto in my Avenger, not much metal roof left at all.
  4. So you would have to win the auction and then say you are from Bimmersport to get 10% off..? Kind Of a bit outside the rules, but sounds ok.
  5. @Jun what is the Bimmersport discount? Needs a price as per forum rules.
  6. Rear end refresh on the convertible, out with old (top row of parts) and in with the new (bottom row). Just waiting on a couple more parts but there’s plenty to be getting on with now. Kinda contemplating putting the new bushes into the race car and the shiny bits on the ‘vert but not decided yet..
  7. Yup, nothing says M3 Touring more than the sound of a 4-cyl oil burner. Don’t get me wrong, 320d is a good all round car, but it’s no M3! Plenty of cars that are a long way closer - M340i Tourings are phenomenal.
  8. Yup, she’s not a full noise M325i so I would put that price at the hopeful end of the spectrum.
  9. Very under-rated cars imho. If you are doing a lot of kms, especially open road with a decent load of gear onboard then that is where a diesel comes into its own in terms of economy.
  10. Please let’s not turn another thread into an argument about electric cars. 🙏 There are plenty of specific threads on the topic already. Apologies as i am partly to blame with my hipsters comments.
  11. Ordering new genuine parts for your 35 year old classic car and not only are they still available, but also in stock and they arrive on your desk next day.
  12. I wouldn’t bet on it, it will take more than the sun coming out to change the current car market, and economy in general. Plus all the hipsters are buying Teslas to “save” the planet.
  13. They won’t fix them, well not properly anyway, but there will be roadworks for Africa all summer while the throw a handful of rocks and some chip over the worst of the holes.
  14. That’s the only thing with Pukekohe, it’s history, and unfortunately it has been under invested for many many years. Take away all the temporary tents, stands and facilities from the Supercars and what is left is pretty poor. Not the best spectator track, with only certain small sections visible from each vantage point, with the back straight and hairpin (the best bits) only visible if you are a long way from everything else. Great track to race on, if you don’t scare yourself at least once on each lap then you are not pushing hard enough! With the Horse Racing Club being the landlord and the motor racing circuit the tenant it was only going to end one way, and that writing has been on the wall since Hampton Downs opened.
  15. If you get up close and look at the exhaust, it normally has stamped into it “not for road use” or “for Motorsport use only” or similar.
  16. Of course!! The xDrive was coping really well (snow was getting quite a bit deeper, but no photos of that) until the man with the Ute and the radio stopped us and made us go back!! 😁
  17. When SH5 is shut, some idiot tried the Gentle Annies instead, and ignored the road closed signs in an M850i 🤣
  18. Baby M3? Someone’s getting their E30 318iS confused with an E36 318iS.
  19. Very true, but there is some absolute cock in a VW GTi around Howick that spends hours driving around going “brmmm, pop, bang, bang, bang, brmmm, pop, bang, bang, bang” at all hours of the day.
  20. Just expanded on that for you.
  21. To the average car buying public all X3s would be the same, but to the BMW cognoscenti the number of similar cars is much less. Six to be exact, if you are looking for an LCI NZ new. You’ve got to pitch your sale to those that appreciate the subtle differences, rather than drop your price for someone who knows no different.
