  1. Probably worth more now it’s an internets sensation!
  2. That’s awesome, if only all car salespeople were that honest!
  3. I’m really surprised that hasn’t sold at that price. Unless the paint is a lot worse than it looks from the photos, or there is something quite wrong with it then I would have thought that was very well priced.
  4. Bypass valves that open when you put it into sports mode. Any Customer that wants a muffler delete on an X6M deserves to get that garbage.
  5. I mean, nice car and all that but $23k nice..hmm. First question “would you take $10k” 🤑
  6. Yeah, that is a pretty sh*t spec X7 to start with, let alone with the flood damage!! The last bid looks well dodgy, oh, it’s at $15k, well why don’t I just jump to $20k!
  7. Not 100% sure which sensors you mean, tyre pressure sensors is covered above, in terms of the wheel speed sensor linked to the abs, etc, if the circumference of the tyre is within the 2% tolerance then will be fine and won’t trip the run-flat alarm.
  8. Can you get a WoF with folding seats in the front of a 4-door? Will these fit in an E87, should do yeah?
  9. Yup +1 for OCD, if you want it done properly go see Christian and his team.
  10. Lots of potential race car builds coming up, don’t need the interior, electrics and air-bags in those!
  11. A bit of a long shot, but I was just wondering if anyone had a BMW race car sitting in their shed that they would be interested in selling or possibly leasing out? Keen on an E30, but would consider other options. Looking to enter the last BMW series race event at Pukekohe Park for old times sake. I have seen the ones currently on trademe and currently talking to a couple of those. Looking to see if there are any other options out there.
  12. I hear ya, my 330d wagon is high up my list of cars I regret selling! It was supposedly the wife‘s daily so I got out voted on that one! I seem to be developing an E46 itch i need to scratch some time soon.
  13. They do, but it still doesn’t affect their levels of entitlement!
  14. Same as my ‘vert. If it had been dolphin it would have been one of my boyhood dream cars.
  15. @APT which colour is that, can’t quite tell from the light in the photos if its Dolphin or not?
  16. Needs a price please as per forum rules. Understand you don’t know what it’s worth, but you have a price you’ll let it go for.
  17. Just seen that you are in Wellington from your profile.. bugger!
  18. Some very strange bidding going on with that M5!!
  19. There’s not a lot of parts that are the same, the roof liner I think is different because the “b” and “c” pillars are different and the liner comes down the sides a little. That said depending on how good your skills are you could possibly adapt it. Pretty sure rear seats and parcel tray are the same. I have got quite a few coupe interior bits, door cards, etc. that might be of use for you. Is yours pre or post facelift..?
  20. Yeah, would be lucky to get that for a 320i coupe (even if it is manual) in half decent Nick, let alone with all those issues. Firewall rust is a rabbit hole and likely to be a good few $$$ Definately dreaming!
  21. That’s passed through quite a few sets of hands now. Still a very nice car though.
  22. That is a sweeping generalisation about a very large and broad government agency. Whilst I agree with what you have said in terms of the road maintenance aspect, there is a lot more to it than just that. There has been a recent external review of at least some aspects of NZTA, you will have seen a number of stories about WoF and HT certifiers losing their licenses, these came about as the result of the review. There are a number of very good people in the NZTA battling against many things (including Political interference and under-resourcing) to do “the right thing”.
  23. That is the estimated date of the ship arriving into PoA, as it has only just left and has a few more ports of call that can move back quite a few issues with ports atm. SLA is 4 days to get a car off ship and off wharf (can take a lot longer in busy periods) then transport to Welly, PDI, groom… So it’s not a quick process!
  24. I’d love to know what job you had in Muenchen to get those as your drive car, FLII or FLIII at a guess.?
