    Quick rant thread.

Dont need to prove it, just a declaration, my work load plummeted so I applied (havent been paid yet) before I had a single account to show I had next to no income. I know of others in my same circumstance that applied that day the fund was announced and got paid 3 days later. I suspect there are a few that will just take it as free money, but the IRD will get them in the end, at the moment the focus seems to be on keeping the majority afloat rather than an audit of everyones records.

Yeah Ive heard the same, its pretty bad. Im self employed, and my boss is a prick, but some people are real pricks.

Its going to be "interesting" times, we might see a very rapid shift in world powers. If China is on the mend, and Russias instant heavy border lock down and resulting low covid 19 cases, are to be believed. The US is screwed, the tipping point for most states to lock it all down was a few days ago.. its inevitable the system falls over there now.

Its OK, it is a high level meme.

Im self employed, doing mostly engineering consulting work and face to face training, so its essentially game over and I live on savings and the governments payout for 4+ weeks... and then we spend the next few years paying it all off. Could be worse, we could be in the US.

Which is exactly why its time to smile at silly stuff, while everyone's stuck at home worrying about the end of the world as we know it There are going to be some really shiny cars on the road in 4 weeks time..
  7. No idea its totally different to my android setup, mine has a menu item to remove the rear camera functionality (Im assuming it doesnt have a camera)
  8. You can gear gear indicator in dash with kombi coding on carly etc
  9. One of the 130i faceballs owners cars.
  10. Its not a total scam, just got to think of it as really long life wax, and not some invincible force field.
  11. Gave it another wash in the weekend and then used the fusso spray wax thats the recommended "top up", its now even shinier. The fusso remained really glossy the whole time, and 10000 dead bugs came off really easily. This stuff is new favourite wax, its better than stuff 4 times the price.
  12. I got some fairly legit ones off amazon, they're probably better than OEM.
  13. Some 130 threads for ya to read up -
  14. Awesome, thats my cars sister! Manual NZ new cars are rocking horse sh*t, one of 13, glad its getting looked after, was a good buy. Welcome to the cool kids club The only difference to mine from the dealer is mine got the aero pack rear spoiler (and mine has 175,000 more k's on the clock!) Id be interested in the BMW Performance backbox if you want to sell it. Demand world wide for them would be pretty high, but limited market in NZ. It'd be worth a couple of hundred if not beaten up.
  15. Possibly, havent really played much with INPA.
  16. ISTA+ or Protools can do it
  17. Valvetronic motor? Might be worth relearning the limits and seeing if it goes away, as well as resetting the DME adaptations
  18. Probably same thing, havent looked into it, its probably the same DSC module on all the 6 pots (4 pots are different for sure)
  19. Is just a coding option on the LCI DSC module, is on by default on LCI cars. Considering my DSC module accepted coding for BBK, which is an LCI only option.. it may even be possible to turn it on on the older cars (why though..)
  20. Its probably cheaper to just do an engine swap with a wreckered engine (that isnt dead). Hit up @HELLBM they may have something in stock.
  21. e-diff, but it was only on lcis (which that isnt), and is sh*t. Just works like traction control by braking spinning wheel, sending torque to the other.
  22. I was totally in the camp of BBK wont stop you quicker previous to these posts, but did about 20m of reading on the internet and now am expert, and that might actually be wrong as its not as simple as locking the wheel. Maximum friction between tyre and road is right at the point before lockup obviously. If BBK hooked up with ABS can control the wheel speed more accurately, through more braking torque and clamping force, then the wheel/tyre could be held in the sweet spot of maximum friction better... which would reduce braking distance. Should have done some testing before hand, stock vs BBK vs BBK with coding, would be curious if there was any difference initial stop distances.
  23. Waterpump and thermostat on 330
