Cup holders looked a little bit dirty, and there was a dog hair stuck under the passenger seat... Might pull the windows out next week to clean em
-
Welcome, 335d's are badass, and rare. Looks wicked.
-
Did ya search amazon for the TRW pn for the M3 bits? From memory I got the LCA and tension arms all new for like $230nz, was nearly theft. Makes a big difference, front end gets waaaay more pointy, actually took a bit of getting use to on the motorway as I found myself giving heaps of corrections.

Week 1... Making it shiny. Might be going crazy. Soft99 KoG over top of Fusso 12.
-
That doesnt sound pretty
-
Yeah the Y pipe has been done, which will be the cause of the drone. General rule of thumb is back box or Y pipe resonator delete, not both As Glenn says its not pretty work. Options will be to find a stock 130 exhaust and bolt it back in, going back to having a centre resonator, or ditch the BMWP backbox and finding a stock 130 one.
-
The cats are up the front, are part of the exhaust manifold. That weld just aft of the heatshield isnt normal (from memory), but there isnt anything there normally anyway. There is a resonator up further that takes the 2 pipes from manifolds and collects them to the single exhaust that is a common mod to remove and replace with a straight Y pipe without a resonator. There is no Msport performance muffler by the way, its a BMW Performance muffler (was a dealer option thing rather than an Msport option thing). If you get a pic of the part number/dataplate will be able to work out if its BMWP or a 135 unit.

Ordered on Saturday
-
330, I did the 130s gasket a year or so ago.
-
10 litres of HPR5 just got delivered from Repco distribution centre. Sump gasket job is a go
-
Wore my original knob out, too much shifting. Storm motorwerks V4, big chunk of machined stainless.. its got some heft.
-
Fedex are delivering, took about 2 days longer than usual due to the planes routes all being screwed up, but got fedex package from US and one from UK.
-
FCP dont really sell much in the way of bedazzlements. There is also aliexpress, but shop wisely, you dont want to be "that guy"
-
Schmeidmann, ECS Tuning, Turner Motorsports all normally ship to nz.
-
Fedex package is still tracking for monday delivery, sump gasket etc, but then I realised taking the sump off the 330 is going to require putting more oil into it... (doh) Ordered oil online for home delivery on Repco, all went through fine, it specifically says online only no pickups through the checkout process and 1-3 days delivery... we shall see
-
"Repco branches are not open to the general public, however you are still able to order online"
-
That differs from Repco website, slyly. Im crossing fingers fedex gets through, sump gasket on 330 time.
-
Repco are apparently open for online sales, supercheap closed online and retail. I ordered a swag of stuff from FCP euro, which hopefully turns up in next few weeks.

Dont need to prove it, just a declaration, my work load plummeted so I applied (havent been paid yet) before I had a single account to show I had next to no income. I know of others in my same circumstance that applied that day the fund was announced and got paid 3 days later. I suspect there are a few that will just take it as free money, but the IRD will get them in the end, at the moment the focus seems to be on keeping the majority afloat rather than an audit of everyones records.

Yeah Ive heard the same, its pretty bad. Im self employed, and my boss is a prick, but some people are real pricks.
-
Its going to be "interesting" times, we might see a very rapid shift in world powers. If China is on the mend, and Russias instant heavy border lock down and resulting low covid 19 cases, are to be believed. The US is screwed, the tipping point for most states to lock it all down was a few days ago.. its inevitable the system falls over there now.
-
Its OK, it is a high level meme.
-
Im self employed, doing mostly engineering consulting work and face to face training, so its essentially game over and I live on savings and the governments payout for 4+ weeks... and then we spend the next few years paying it all off. Could be worse, we could be in the US.
-
Which is exactly why its time to smile at silly stuff, while everyone's stuck at home worrying about the end of the world as we know it There are going to be some really shiny cars on the road in 4 weeks time..
