yea, if only it was a 530i.. plenty of M54b30s to drop straight in..
-
if u wana go square tyre fitment fit 235 40 all round. it will be alright
-
i would say it doesnt matter but im more curious why 255/35 is not available as this is the standard size tyre for the style 193 or any other 18" staggered set ups for a lot of sedans.
-
probably removed the sls for standard shocks and springs?
-
oh yes, i did overlook that. but still, i think its priced sharp at $1k despite the kms being NZ new you get fold down rear seats and its msport year 2000 so 1 year wof etc

www.trademe.co.nz/2755542194 Looks like a super tidy NZ new E39 sedan in the best blue - biarritz blue metallic. Just drop in an engine and you got a good daily for sub 3k or so. @Cammsport @HELLBM

NZ new vehicles have some of the weirdest options list on some cars..

-
are these not xenon headlights?
-
Looks like xenons to me?
-
pretty much, just sign in with your trademe username and details and off you go. has nice things like scheduling bids ahead of time if you dont want to forget to bid on an auction etc.

I went into trademe as part of a research to give feedback about the new motors section. I gave them a lot of s#!+ and pointed out every one of the things mentioned above... bit of a disaster really..

asking on behalf of a friend who has 19s and wants to downsize to 18s to improve ride quality. looking for a set of style 193's preferably with tyres. anything around offset 30-40 will do the trick. original/genuine BMW wheels only please.
-
isnt it all residential around that area now? terrace houses
-
are they 4 rears?
-
i would imagine those bridgestone (i assume RE050A) would have lasted 20,000 kms at least..?

Not sure if "just done 91k" was said in a way to suggest "only" 91ks.. Cuz thats more than enough for a 4.8L V8 engine in a 12 year old BMW to develop some issues. I had a quick look on google for common leak issues and plenty came up. It could be anything. Best thing to do if the leak is not bad is get it booked at a BMW mechanic to properly diagnose where your issue is coming from and get that sorted. They should also be able to advise you what else needs or will need attention.

I wouldnt count on the car warning you for waterpump failure. Better to do it and forget for a while. If you order from fcp you get free lifetime replacement if you keep the car long enough for the new part to fail
-
this is a good tyre size. i was running 225 40 235 40 due to having low offset ET22 on 18x8.5 wheels otherwise would have run the same square set up as you

ive seen some funny 520i long wheel base and A4 2.0 long wheel base when i was in asia. hilarious underpowered limos

Sorted kind of but still has typical bmw engine issues. In saying that the n52 is a great engine regardless, I have the N52Nb25 in my 325i coupe nz new and its all good. a bit thirsty at around 10.5L/100km mainly open road driving which is not too different from a 3L version in terms of economy but you are well down on power. if it has the right spec for the right price i say go for it. Typical common bmw issues such as cooling system coils spark plugs etc which im sure you are well used to by now
-
yea, its probably not cheap. and aftermarket ones are probably not as good as genuine. Should have donated my set before I sold my coupe
-
I already have a set remade but didnt want to drill them and dont have plate holders so put the old ones on for now im a big fan of the LCI taillights with the LED bubble look, but your inners upgrade is very nice!

https://www.trademe.co.nz/2724428960 This is a friend's listing if anyone is interested in a relatively rare 1 series coupe non turbo with the nice N52 3L engine. A lot of work has gone into making this right with brand new suspension and some basic maintenance. He would be willing to negotiate the price too!
