  1. What he said. It gives it the definition it needs, and a touch of class. Especially seeing as it really isn't even much chrome. Just a hint of it really (compared to PFL E30 for example)
  2. It has checker-plate floormats. How could you say no?
  3. Looks pretty saveable though.. At least it's only carbon wrap... not some shitty paintjob. Edit: Apart from the bumpers and skirts
  4. People are still struggling with the fact that Jetstar is a low-budget airline devout of customer service. Because if they want customer service they have to pay for it... by flying a full-service airline like AirNZ. Nothing against Jetstar, I understand that and I'm happy to fly with them regardless, but Kiwi's all seem to think that they should be amazing, just because AirNZ is sometimes...
  5. Someone gets killed by a shark and straight away we criticise the people who tried to save him? Where is the humanity in that! Come on people, pull your heads in. I'm sure in that situation most, if not all would have done the same. Why does everything have to become a witch hunt all the time? In any wild country, if an endangered animal attacked a human it would be killed. Regardless of whose fault it is.

Please post a price and photos for any items that you have for sale. "Offers" isn't good enough. If you want to get the best price for your item just start high and work down. Your much more likely to sell something when people know how much you're after. And it saves people making stupid offers cluttering up your thread. From here: Please read before posting an item for sale
  7. A couple of years old, but awesome watching!
  8. Autocar has stated that they will back up any claim, to any car being a collectable item for the special interest vehicle laws (In their opinion, all cars are collectable). It is a 2-door coupe. All it needs is either a production run under 20,000 a year, or to be a "high performance vehicle". http://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/factshee...t-vehicles.html
  9. You might have to wait til I get a job haha...
  10. www.bmwraceseries.co.nz Although it seems to be playing up right now.. Edit: Ooops, sorry wrong link. Serves me right for not fully reading the posts above
  11. Spotted a lanky ginge scoring a 4th in qually.
  12. McAfee in general is pretty terrible. I used to have it too, and it completely destroyed the small amount of performance my poor computer had. Took ages just to start up. With Security Essentials, you don't even notice. It starts up before anything else on the taskbar, and is literally a split second. It's just so well integrated with windows.
  13. I also use Microsoft Security Essentials, never had a problem yet. But I don't explore dodgy websites either. In saying that, it would be interesting to try another software to see if there is anything on here that Security Essentials isn't picking up.
  14. LOL my Falcon has a nicer interior. And it's miles from a RR!
  15. Yup, I'm planning to! Not as the semi-decent roadcar it once was, but more of a track-attack weapon (when the money starts rolling in ) Not a bad idea, although the rust is all around the hole for the grommet... but maybe I'll just wrap the wiring loom in carpet, and be very slow and careful with the welding. Definitely. My hands are mangled, and I don't care. Much redbull has been consumed already, and lots more to come.
  16. More ripping it apart today, got the dash out, trying desperately to figure out the easiest way to remove the fuse box (looks like the whole damn body loom has to go through the firewall, and I haven't stripped the back end of the car... I was hoping not to need to. Also sliced 2 fingers, busted 2 knuckles and broke plenty of clips.
  17. Higher grade than an E30? Wash your mouth out with soap!
  18. Yeah, mine's as quick, or quicker than before. Practically instant.
  19. Cheers, I'll keep that in mind. Will be a slow build unless I manage to get a job soon though haha. I'll probably hit it with the wire wheel tomorrow and see how it looks.
  20. Yup, I'm hoping to be able to rip out everything, and then maybe get a firewall and passengers floor off a wreck, otherwise I'll try fix it. I doubt anyone will buy it in this state, so I may as well track it. Because race car.
  21. It probably isn't completely terminal, but I was thinking track-car...
  22. Removed the carpet and seats. It's pretty rusty! Certainly not going to be a road car ever again...
  23. The passengers floor and the firewall that I've found so far, but coupled with a leaky heater and a busted fan clutch it seems uneconomical to repair. Rego is still on hold though. I have a new car already, so don't really have the funds to fix (unless AirNZ comes knocking on the door!)
  24. Bump! Anybody? I can take some more pics of the rust etc if anybody wants, although I'm pretty sure it's terminal. Otherwise I will be parting out if it isn't sold whole.
