Bullshit. I own a bmw. I wouldn't accept being scammed out of $60. Just because someone owns a nice car doesn't mean they are carefree with their money....

Another wof in the $300 e36. Another clean sheet.

Sorry I can't recommend anyone, I am a systems engineer by trade, but we don't work with the public. I have been looking into diy solutions myself, so can't really comment on commercial solutions. Heaps of potential with a lot of alarm brands but I have no idea who would stock what, or be able to set them up. I'm just going off my own goal for a setup, which is just internet based alarm and cctv system. Definitely a future proof solution.

If you want to go high tech you could look into upgrading the existing alarm to one that can be monitored over the Internet. Leaves a lot more options for monitoring, even allowing you to monitor it yourself, and can let you know what sensor went off etc. even better, add cctv for the ultimate. All at a price, but getting pretty reasonable these days.

That was my first thought too. Hilux.

Challenge does not buy in fuel. Their fuel is merely Caltex without the techron additive. Both companies are owned by chevron. This is all coming from a chevron, and former Caltex employee. (Not me). So maybe you got a good batch, but chances are it's more to do with what hybrid was talking about.

Ask a modern hilux owner how much their 3rd set of fuel injectors cost them 1 year out of warranty....

I'd tend to agree. I always went no more than 20-30, and as traffic hit those sort of speeds would merge back in. Never had people swerving in front of me, even though Wellingtonians are apparently terrible for it..

I wish. That sounds way easier.

Being paid to study. Early Knock Offs. Not having to pick what to wear everyday. Gym. Fitness. Good feeds for free 3x daily.

The guy he hit even didn't want him sacked. Cos if top gear goes, his job goes too. Or at the least he gets moved onto some other bbc drivel.

Would you date someone because of what car they drive?
huff3r replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in Off-Topic
My gf has told me on more than one occasion that she wouldn't be dating me if I had a sh*t car. As for her, as long as it's reliable, or at least enjoyable to work on, then I'm happy. She just got a company car, brand new lease so I'm pretty happy, more spanner time for my own car(s) -
I'm looking for an ICV for an m43 out of an E36. Is it worth getting secondhand, or is new the best option? And where would I get a new one from, and for what sort of price? Cheers Edit: NVM, wasn't the issue. Loose hose dammit.

Most solid lifters have some degree of adjustment of the valve clearance, Eg m20 motors. Normally set with a feeler gauge and a few spanners.

Yeah, i've never had any issues with any of my BMWs.... leave them sitting idle for much more than a month though and it's a different story haha.
-
Oh crap, better drive with the lights off. It's dark out, but I don't wanna ruin my battery now!
-
Old NZV8 tyres are still pretty common and easily had... if you wanted to run full slicks...
-
ts pretty easy to keep it legal, depending how far you want to go. Motorsport authority card covers a roll cage, race seats, harnesses and removing abs and airbags. Cert is required if you want to go for adjustable suspension or big power gains/different motor.
-
Not at this stage, I have no time for a few months now cos of work haha.

I've got an auto 318i at the moment with the lethargic m43. Considering changing to a m42 or a m50 one day.. Just out to have fun for now.

Welcome to the E36 project track car club! Looks like a better base than mine!

If you drive it on the road then it affects anyone else on the road.
