It was a limited run FWD production special. They decided pretty quick that they were crap and not worth continuing with, so sold the plans, specs and production equipment to Nissan. Genuine BMW ones are extremely rare, they only made a couple before they realised their mistake, and no-one in their right mind ever bought one.

I agree whole-heartedly! Motorcycles are already getting stung ridiculous levies, especially if they have multiple vehicles. For a supposed "No Fault" compensation scheme, which is very quickly turning into "Accident Insurance"..
-
Maybe they should've just used the word "look-a-like" instead of "replica"? Then the marketing would be pretty spot on.

I am after an E30 glovebox with a working latch. I am a poor student however, so I can pay in beers or swap for an E30 alternator, or depending how much you want for it I guess I might be able to find some spare change. Keen to get my glovebox sorted, its kinda lame having a half broken glovebox held up with cableties.

Interesting race... wonder how long it will be before the Red Bull cars are fastest again? Or maybe it's just Aussie they are slow at..

Bump $70... or near Offer or Good Condition E30 glovebox + latch

Off a 1987 BMW 320i. Was working well when removed, but has been sitting for probably nearly 2 years. $70 Or would swap for a good condition E30 glovebox with a working latch (my latch broke, broke the glovebox trying to open it ) *Edit: Part is in Hamilton, would prefer pickup but shipping could be arranged.

Also I think you may need to make them out of something sturdier than cardboard . As for welding the top of the cage, mine we dropped the front bars through the floor and managed to do the whole top pretty well using that... can't remember if we dropped the main bar too, but I don't think so. The holes are well and truly covered by the 3mm steel plates.

Plenty of lag to keep things exciting?

Sometimes people just dont want what you are selling, i.e demand is rediculously low. However if supply is also low, then its just a case of waiting for the demand to jump from 0 to 1 surely? (eg. Racecars nobody wants right now )

Just buy some washers and stack to the desired thickness...

Sure... if you have $1500-2000 for coilovers, and another $600 or so for a cert... The race series Koni shocks - King springs combo is a good one, but there are a few other alternatives too for good handling and comfortable ride. I'd just get the bilsteins rebuilt. Then get H&Rs (or similar) if you want new springs.

Been discussed on here many times before, owner is even a member. I actually saw it in the flesh a few weeks ago. Edit: Sounds like this isn't the original owner, who was a forum member. Seems he sold it last year.

Can't tell in the pics, what colour is this? Cheers.

I didnt think it was that hushed up... it was all over the news, headline story for a good week or so...

Did some more work cleaning the inside of the racecar with Wax and Grease remover. Tidying up all the sticky residue I never got around to cleaning off after the removal of the sound deadening. Then considering painting the floor, but not sure what colour to use haha.
