Seal the end of a straw and blow into it. Now try blowing into a sealed room from the key hole. You probably wont notice the change in pressure on the later.

what ecu are you using?
-
Do you mean what size tor bit you need? if so t30
-
Do you mean something like this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-454805331.htm I have no idea what the quality is like of these but it does seem quite cheap seeing as I spent $500 and something just on the tube

I personally like the idea of using the raised boxes in this car. To weld right around the main hoop is near impossible where the seat steps up. I think the nz specs are plenty safe and will use plinth boxes next time I do a coupe with a stepped seat It might be the picture, but it seems to me like the front boxes aren't far enough forward. If the lateral bars hug the body as far forward as they can go and then go vertically down from there Are you doing the bending yourself? Good luck. You'll grow to love roll cage yoga

It's back http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-454448041.htm Does anyone know what it sold for at turners?

Nice car. Bit low for my taste but i can definately see how you make a profit out of your cars What are so special about those coilovers? The stanceworks sticker on them? I'd of thought correcting the roll centre and bump steer correction would be the most important things(other then a sump gaurd) for these really low cars

As long as your not slamming it through the gears you'll be fine. I definately wouldn't say it is a must do mod.

If it's just for show throw some blocks of wood in there. Takes just as much time to change springs(to blocks of wood) as it does to wind them down I might be missing the point. Are you getting or have you got an authority card for this?

I'd stay away from the short shift kits with a getrag 250 gearbox(i'm assuming you have the standard gearbox in it). Unless your shifting at the right time the synchro's will be getting excessive wear. In saying that i've got a short shifter in the 325 i'm fixing atm and would trade with cash my way To get rid of the play in your shifter have a look in my 328 build thread. It has a list of all the parts you'll want to change Best mod i've done to my car was adding a limited slip differential and going from a 2.93 ratio to 3.15

I've got a manual, non asc and non traction control ecu from an m52b28. I've no longer got any use for it

What are you doing for tuning?
-
+1 for not using a piggyback. Especially not for that price If your not going to be tuning it yourself i'd suggest using what your tuner would prefer to use. A megasquirt might save you money up front will cost more in the long run. Another option (although quite expensive) is link's plug in for m50 engines. They'll cost you the same as the other plug in link ecu's

Distance between mounting holes is 75mm Centre hole internal diameter is 49mm. External diameter on top (measured from the outside lip that folds over) is 55mm. I'll be making some for my car but I think they'll be a bit different to what your making

What a tease. Where are the details? Is that the cast manifolds fliped over? Looks like fun

Should go to the foglight relay
-
Good luck wiring it in. Have a look on realoem and compare the parts that mount the m50 and m20 engines to an e34 The flywheel might need a bit taken from it The gearbox angle might be angled a bit to the right

More free beer. Or maybe beer money again http://brb.co.nz/register-start-quiz

That's a tiny spring your after. I'd hate to think what sort of spring rate you'll be needing to keep it off the bump stops (or the ground). Are you trying to tuck the wheel? or get this low http://www.stancenation.com/2011/10/12/slammered/ Do you have adjustable spring perches in the back? You could make up some spring pearches so you can use 62mm springs. The springs will probably need some modifications. How far are you from the ground? Why so low? Have you reinforced your rear subframe mounting points? I'm looking forward to seeing how this looks painted. I'll definately have to pop out and see it

Homologation and log book arrived today. Best bit of mail i've had in a long time The cage had to go to the front because the car had airbags. Or something like that. Intake plans have taken a back seat as i've now got the other mistress and parts for the other engine and gearbox are on the way.
