'94 M50B25 Rocker cover anti-dribble fixity kit
thorburn replied to Ahmedsinc's topic in Maintenance
I've got a brand new one that is still in a sealed elring headgasket set I wont need the valve cover gasket for the engine that I'm putting together. I'll post up photos if your interested and want proof of it being brand new. It's all yours for $56, I'll pay for shipping. Or I will swap for a new dual vanos rocker cover gasket I hope that makes sense -
good luck. I'm in the process of doing the same sort of thing (it's a long process). Polley's last comment best describes it

I will be looking to get one of these when I get rid of one of my cars. I'm not much help on the general maintenance on them. If your ever planning on some more performance I know a little. If you could, could you post up what you discover. Hope it goes well

yes you can switch all the rotating assembly over a bit of effort for .3L
-
you'll need to get some camber adjustable strut tops or some eccentric bushings to correct the camber. Or raise it up. There are new laws coming in (as seen in Westies build thread) about the max camber you can have.

if it were me i'd be looking into some e36 m3 headers(not sure how well they fit in an e39), a cam grind and a remap. m54b30 intakes are supposed to be an upgrade as well. replacing vanos seals is a good idea What part of the country are you in?
-
yes. I haven't even watched this video but it came up first in google.
-
Cheers. I really should have looked it up for myself
-
Would you be able to post up some photos of the board? In particular the knock detection part. Didn't realise this was common on pnp megasquirts

Was just wondering what people are using, what features these loggers have and whatever other info you can give I've got a Link g4 currently but i'll be wanting a few more digital inputs and would like something with a gps and maybe the ability to video overlay

What part of the country are you in? I've got some in Hamilton

Sorry no pictures. Painted the cage with the misses with paintbrushes. There are a runs all over-this was definately all my fault. I've got another block from Mosens and some dual vanos gear that i've mated to a spare head I'll get some pictures when i've achieved something

A few $1 reserve auctions fog lights, manual shifter surround, seatbelts, etc http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings....?member=1605258 I've also got some e36 window buttons if there is still an interest in that sort of thing

If you want them that much you could just order some http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=...;fg=15&hl=3 I can't find the part number for the cast type which should be cheaper

The owner. Story goes that a porsche ran up the back of it on the motorway and sent him into the wall.
-
Internet arguements are all the same. Has he confessed yet that there was no porsche
-
More videos are under roninexige. He has some goodies racing bikes

Can you not just use a bypass after the supercharger? What ratio is the supercharger being spun at Looks like you've done well welding those cast bits. Would you be able to explain what you use for cleaning and welding? 4043 rod, pre heating and plenty of cleaning? Keep up the good work

Just be aware that there are replicas of these around. Can be spotted by number of bolts and I think th lip is slightly different
