Any more details or photos of the rt's?

Cheers, I might take you up on that offer if plan A doesn't work. And i've definately got to come have a look over your car some time Plan A is to run a fan into the demister ducts.

Solved. 23211224816 is the part number for the springs. A huge thank you to Jo who lost and found the springs I'll ditch the 240 springs and get a few more of these. I just need some time to put it all back together

Your door cards look heaps better then mine. What are you going to do for a door handle and opener?
-
do all m50's have oil squirters?
-
At least you get to scrape the stuff off where gravity isn't working against you Where do your window winders sit in relation to the side intrusion bars? I was going to try convert mine to manual Untill everything decided it wanted to collide with eachother

Cheers for the link. How is you project coming along? I've been slowley reading through your project. You've definaately had some hard times. It's too bad that I can't seem to find what's happened to the linked car now. He seems to be banned from every forum. I can see why. I regret not just slapping it all in the way that he has. Everything measured up fine but the only problem was the wear at the top of the bore on the exhaust side. And of course all main bearings getting a taste of bead blasting. Recently i've been trimming back the large bundle of wires that were in the car. Made the mistake of getting frustrated and hacking it all out. The last week and a bit, i've spent putting it all back together with a few changes like wiring in the headlights so they turn off when the car is off. Car is back in the garage again. Cage is maybe done. I'm wondering if I should put in bars going to the floor in the middle of the side intrusions. I've got a pro-tools notcher(i had to get something good after using the junk at tec) so i'll more then likely want to do it. Any criticism on the cage is welcome

http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....t=0&start=0 I'd say the quickest way to find out if it is a 2.8 would be to pull a spark plug and put a rod down it and measure the stroke from it. 84mm will mean 2.8

Do want but my parts collection is getting a bit large. You wouldn't be after any suspension or wheels or interior parts?
-
Why do you want max camber on the back? Did they not pull the gaurds enough? It's looking great

You really want a fan switch to be automatic. You can use one of the factory fan switches that bolts into the drivers side of the radiator to control it. I can find a part number if that explanation was no good. I didn't realise there were non abs e36's. Do they have anything to control the front to rear bias that the abs models don't? For un stitching the roof do you just drill out all the spot welds from the under side? How do you paint the tight parts where the cage is almost touching the car body? Your side intrusion bars are like nothing i've ever seen before Keep up the good work.

Where do I find one of these? Thanks for taking the time to take such great photos

what size

Calipers for e36 and e46(apart from 3litres+) have the same part number(although they do have different bleed screws and some other not important differences). The difference is in the carrier. Some e46's and z3's use the smaller carrier that will not clear the larger rotors. Why not go for 330 brakes?
