ahh yes, fiddlers ... its a common sight unfortunately.. people play around with out fully understanding the cause and effect. Too many times I see people treating later model BMWs as if they were a Toyota corolla when they should be thinking of the car as a computer network. Everything talks to everything on a common bus system. Once people understand that there are three main signals in model cars not just two then they wouldn't get themselves into so much strife. Power, Analogue and digital signals.

Here is your clue. The KBUS signal isnt triggering the radio on signal from your display controller. Next this you need to do is unplug the battery and test the continuety between the KBUS input wire to the radio and where ever its terminating .. work back fromt here. What is your radio module ... BM24 ? BM54 or 53 ? Just bang the part number into here. also use tinypic to post images .. make sure you create an account for your images to hang around longer than 15 days

That was at a police auction though. Thats not a real market value. Thats like saying all of the ferraris and porsches that got sold a while back at a firesale has devalued the price of them all in NZ. As much as insurance companies would like that to be the case, you can easily argue the point on overseas pricing of the vehicles. Also a CSL is a specail interest car.

I got the same issue in the e30 too ... running 18s however I have the correct driveline for my wheels. Just that speedo is expecting 15inch wheels not 18s:D Ive taken a mental note using GPS of what is the limit.

Or you could turn it all on its head and do all this to a car that it doesnt matter for way cheaper. I had the same delimer with the 330 when I had it. Still keep spending money on it only to be doing up my daily / road car when all I wanted to do was hoon. This lead me to get the e30.

When boosting m20 was 'cool' in europe about 8 years ago .. that was the big failure point. Before I did the s50, I was looking at doing a boosted m20. Lots of good builds on zatzy.com. Get your swedish translator out.

The point was a standard m20 can accept low boost fine. Anything past 16psi and the water jackets need reinforcement.

search for a build by user bravo. He supercharged his m20b25 on low boost.

Do you have an s50b30 or b32 ? Reason I ask is if its MSS50 controlled I can run some of my prototype logging over the vanos for real time exhaust and intake values as well as target values from the DME. good to see if its functioning properly.
