Nice pics guys .. looking awesome. Im glad someone got non blurry photos of all the M cars.

Ok, Ive had a good look and done a bit of a comparison to the old car. Strangely its not that much different to the previous model. The changes are actually only 3 main things and here is how I think theyre falling down. rear tail lights are too long looking. This is because they have been extended a little inwards and angled more. Also they have added longer lines in the tail light. The number plate recess doesn't exist .. and I think this is what missing and making it look weird. The lower tail gate flap fold line has been dropped too .. this is giving the impression that the tail lights are higher than they really are .. adding to the weird look. The only other thing that's no right with it is the wheels they have used for the photo shoot are the non sports model. So it looks a bit funny with small wheels. The side flares and side skirts don't exist in this version. So it might look a lot better when its not the plain Jane version.

Hell of a car, but some of those specs are a bit of a back pedal if they just put a manual rack and a manual gear box in.

It cracks me up how amber is all the rage now over white.

haha awesome. Yeah nah, seriously .. shoot the designer and their crap 'design language' with that new tail light mess. No more beersies for you. Also the design approval board, its probably time to retire .. you had your turn .. it didn't work out so well. This is a Chinese rip off, it actually looks like BMW are trying to rip of the rip offs.

More pics .. and get a gopro in it!

Powerbuilt = rubbish .. after my 5th replacement I threw it at them. Will never buy a steel jack again. Best jack I bought is this little bad boy. Its light, built well, cheap and can be de constructed to fit in behind your seat if needed. And made of alloy. Most of the race series uses them too. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-596238275.htm Mines red but its pretty much the same thing. Did the 330, the 540 and the e30 and fits under my friend evo3 which he had problems with other jacks. This one is a good profile.

In all seriousness http://www.bmwblog.com/2013/05/26/real-lif...35_898152968_o/ Much better looking in the flesh. However I cant help but think the interior reminds me of those shitty chairs, desks and interior of a scout den back in the 80s mmmm Kauri everything..

Nice! ... you must be stoked.

The main thing is lower end torque curve on a S62 is more aggressive, this is mainly because it has variable intake and exhaust where as a m62 only has variable intake. The extra CC also help down low. The HP thing only really come in around the top.

Sounded like a Big end bearing failure. you could hear the rattling when the started to drive off at the start. The rest is just damage from parts flying around the crack case. As for cause, could be anything. Neglect, low oil pressure, engine had a very hard life etc ..

Will flick you a PM tom. Ollie will be interested in the modelling side and is highly qualified to do it. Again, all we need to do is get it 3d scanned with a professional scanner and Ollie will sort the rest. I also have access to a 4 1/2 axis CNC machine and engineering shop. edit: PMed

Tom, the best way to make a mould is to use a 3d scanner. Im not sure the hand held ones are going to cut it. But a fixed arm scanner and someone afterwards to clean up the result in 3d CAD and turn it into parts. From this you can get it routed out of wood. Ollie could actually do the 3d part, its just the scanning you'll be looking for. Which i'm sure Ollie knows someone in the industry too for that
