It wouldnt be unique, has been done before in both chassis before .. Here is an m5 motor into an e46 I was involved with http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=40240 There is one in CHCH on this site and another just put in last year in Northland (member is on this site but hasnt posted the build) There are a few Lexus v8 into e30/e36's floating around too. Both chassis require a bit of work to make it happen as there is very limited room in the engine bay, lots of solutions need to be found. But both totally doable. Thats the engine side of things covered. Chassis, suspension and looks wise I have also completed a full makeover to my old 330i which turned out rather well. Sold it a few years a go however and its not quite the same anymore.

sweet looks awesome. use a set of these to push the front wheel forward to give it a tad more castor and centre the wheel in the guard. http://www.treehouseracing.com/new/?wpsc-p...m-bushing-set-2

Wrong offset. There is a way around that and it is using a angled side wall tire. Bumper needs throwing away however.

Can vouch for it .. very very good condition is this car.

Okies, I have adjusted the field length from 3 to 15 .. see if that works happy real birthday day

$40 I can do it up at HellBM for you. Doesn't include if it comes back on due to hardware. But being up at HellBM we should be able to replace the part. PM me if interested.

I used the power built torque gauge on the build up of the bottom end of the s50 when doing bearing end caps and oil bolts. Its still going strong with no explosions 3-4 years later They're are quite good those, allows you to using your own socket power bars and is very accurate. Down side is that it can be a little awkward to use and your tightening you have to keep moving around with it. But once you get into the range of torqueing its not really an issue. Other down side is it wont fit in tight places easily but then the same could be said about a fixed length powerbar torque wrench.

I agree on the k's thing ... If its had all the right stuff done like this has .. then your in for a great car. There are a few options around for low k m3's which im sure youve looked at ... this one has the most realistic price vs qaulity to get into one.

Here you go tony .. a view of your ass. -
The DME needs to have the correct software loaded to run without cats. Mapping isn't going to solve it as the actual program needs input from the sensors to work properly. Otherwise it will just revert back to a fail safe map and your car will just run rich. A bodge way around it is tuning the fail safe map. However it doesnt account for pressure changes or temperature.

Westy: yeah ill get onto it tonight Yeah cheers all for the day, it was great to meet and chat to some of you I pulled my brakes apart on Monday night and found that my left front was off centre ... it has a lot of pad build up on the rotor causing the shuddering. I think I might have to get a road pad and use a race pad just for track days. Anyways, I shimmed the left side and got it down to 0.2mm out which is pretty good. The right hand side doesnt need shimming for some reason its dead centre. Data logger went very very well. Now all I need to do is program in some start stop menus with and option to trigger all cameras on and off at the same time -
Hi guys, It was one of Brian's last wishes was to have a final ride in a BMW. Ray/HellBM is donating the black 540 touring to fit the coffin in. However It needs a driver. Ray is happy for a Bimmersporter who is attending the funeral to drive the car. PM myself or Ray (HellBM) if interested for details.

Yeah man, Ashkan, Westy, Hellbm - Ray and Sam, Brendon will all be hanging out in a group. Look for 2 x e46 M3s and 2 x 'not quite right' e30s. Will look out for ya. -
Very very sad to hear .... Many of you would of known Brian organising Bimmersport BBQ and various cruises around Auckland. And just one of the ole boys who was just really into BMW vehicles as a whole. Was fortunate enough to work with Brian on many Brian lead Bimmersport events. You may remember him from the largest BMW Show and Shine in East Auckland in the country and his legendary Cornwell park BBQs. Heres to ya mate, and may you be keeping on up there.

Good to hear you got it sorted in the end. I think sometimes the best thing is to research stuff yourself. This way you get to see how it works and why things happen. Nice work guys.
