i can see some tech2 apron in the lower right hand corner. a bit like when you spot nip on a tidy bird down at the beach -
I have a tatty 1pc gear knob and boot I'll give you to include if you like
-
Wasn't goin to participate, but wouldn't it be cheaper to replace the mat than re-certify the car? And when all said and done, an LVV cert plate isn't going to help save you or more importantly your passengers/partners etc that are in the at or driving it
-
are you in the VW van in this? you seem to be quite high up
-
he has installed a liftkit in the front

Speculating the cause is one thing, but lying in a court of law is a slippery slope.

yep about to leave tomorrow to do the same thing, cant wait to find out how crap the boot space is because of the box for the roof to stow into -
if you are surprised it is okay, maybe they just missed it, it does happen. maybe you should get it checked anyway, this is a fairly critical part of the vehicle. I sent one of my tourings for a VTNZ warrent last week and they missed the rear licence plate lights not working, luckily im not the sort of person that doesnt know thier car.

Did this to the V12 yesterday Link to the project thread is in my signature and then today i lowered the E30 front and back with some Eibach/Bilstein gear that i brought for my 316i i used to have and never ended up fitting. but too overcast today and photos have come out like crap so another time. Supposed to be about 1.8"F/1.4"R but is more like 2.0"F/1.6"R
-
nothing wrong with a 316i but it HAS to be Manual, i daily drove one for a year or so, and have had a few of them now. If you drive it for what it is, excellent runabouts and easiest E30 to work on, not that any are hard. If i didnt have so many here allready i would be tempted!! For reference, I sold my 316i Manual Coupe for $3500 middle of last year, was tidy, about the same kms as yours 240 i think, but bone stock with no goodies except 15" BMW/BBS basketweaves. they seem to be worth more than both 318i and 320i which is a bit odd good luck with sale!

on that note, definately recommend John to any new members for any panel work to be done, had a few bits painted by him over the years, always a great job.

I hope you do get $850, worth every cent but if they still dont move at $850 give me a text or call, 0273079322 Im sure we can work something out
-
have you been in my car Brent? not too bad on the coilovers in that, and you could make it softer, i have mine about 3/4 of the way to hardest setting
-
is there a keyhole on the driver or passenger door on this model? it is possible to unlock mechanically, for example in the case of a flat battery, but only on vehicles that have an external keyhole

yeah sorry, thats just the picture i found on google. you sre correct it is the holder for the wedge bulb and has the facelift plug on the other end. when you buy lamps make sure it has this bit or its useless to you. there are two wires in it with some plastic shielding around the outside. you could splice the new negative you will need to make into the existing negative instead which is probably how i would do it, so its like a Y connection. the positive ones are simple, but you will probably need a multi meter to figure out which wires are which. remember that the low beams only come on when the ignition is on position, i was trying to nut it out a few weeks ago why the hell my fogs werent going then i realised lol

TVRs and the Porsche 959 didnt expect either of those! I was most amazed about how all the "traffic" cars stayed thier lane and speed and let the sports cars move around them. if that was in NZ they would be hitting the anchors swerving round and round and just generally panicking
-
yes that could work 1/2" drive or 3/8" drive? any impact gear with it? and price? cheers
-
high beam will possibly plug straight in then, the plug is very similar if not the same as that. the low/park will need modification as there are two seperate plugs of two. You will also need to get the headlamp side of the wiring for the park light, it is a cable that goes around the outside of the housing and up to the bulb like this
-
if anyone has something impulse brought lying around let me know, doesnt seem to be much on trademe. for light duty work so not wanting to pay new prices, i will just suck it up and do without cheers
