meh. i have had two chinese screens in my E34 while i have had it (long story). but ive never had a problem with either of them. was the original one when i brought the car. at the end of the day. a window is going to get dirty. and if it leaks its due to poor fitment, not the screen it self. of course, the exception would be a 7er or whatever that has imbedded aerials etc, but the E34 etc doesnt have any of that even the top spec ones (except tourings in the back windows coz they are awesome)

should be a large case mate, think the mediums only came in the M20/M50 ones

I picked up an E36 during the week, 318i manual 4dr. was going to tidy up and put back on the road, but i think i have decided its too shagged. all parts available at this stage PM or text/call 0273079322, but please avoid calling during business hours as i dont usually answer unknown numbers during that time.

you will be well into touring/motorsport/well loved and looked after territory with that coin. an immaculate normal E30 will be around the $3000 mark. or pick up a cheapie and throw a couple grand at it in the right places and you will have a mint reliable runner

Hugely loud stereo gear for sale
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to rogan's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
99.999% of the time it wont be cranked up to 5000W anyways. any anyone dropping this sort of money on their stereo that actually intends to use it (not just sank factor) is going to be doing batteries, capacitors, alternator as well if not first -
i have a pair of 15mm and a pair of 25mm one, both sets i brought brand new and then had them modified at an engineering shop so they are hubcentric and legal. this was done by pressing an aluminium disk offset into the centre of them with a lip out. this means they are BMW hubcentric, for standard BMW wheels (or Schnitzer/Alpina/etc). you could put non-BMW wheels on there, but you would need hub centric adaptor rings like you usually would anyways. but didnt end up using, decided to fit fatter tyres instead. have probably driven 10km on them. can do photo if required what do you want to pay for them?

less time. which most yards down here dont have at the moment because of pretty rubbish scrap prices at the moment. remember, the price at those kinds of places is never fixed. as long as you know thier next best price, you can get it for not much more.

i just brought some from pelican parts in a big order i just did. they arent too expencive there. of course, shipping on just that would be killer though, you might as well buy some other bits at the same time etc

well in regard to getting it into tight spaces, it wouldnt matter where it was on the shaft would it? or would a universal joint give false readings? not that this matters for the suspension and gasket jobs im going to do on the E34 in the next week or so. just want the right decision. maybe i will have to look at the actual size of the unit before deciding. At least you guys arent telling me they are total crap and not worth thinking about

good stuff! I'm struggling to get out of third too -
my antique manual one has decided 30 years is old enough and put itself into retirement. Just looking at replacements now, found these new electronic ones on trade me here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-579292690.htm am i kidding myself thinking these ones look like good units? I haven't had any issue with Powerbuilt brand stuff in the past. its not going to be in everyday use, already got 1/2" kit etc once a month if its lucky or should i just face up and get another manual one?

PM Hans, "bmrmad" is his handle

usually a dodgy hazard switch. but you say you have replaced hmmm. could be two dodgy hazard switches? stalk? indicator system not too complicated on the E30
