  1. Great post Quali, I think the RBNZ will increase rates 0.25% on June 10 and each time thereafter until about 3.5-4.0%
  2. Any thoughts on what will happen to residential rents and selling prices?
  3. Well done Janice those e36's are loyal steads so you will get your use out of it, frustrating though always things to do when you buy a car.
  4. You sound like the ideal owner for such a superb motorcar, baby it my man save it for the future generations.
  5. Yeah not sure what he mean't just mentioned it on service invoice that the polen filter needs changing. I will take a look at those tomorrow are there any other filters under the dash or anything?
  6. Was it just purchased and son wrecked it or?? one less 39 touring on the road what did he hit?
  7. As above those TomToms are random in the Manawatu I have had three friends visit using them over the saddle road from Woodville, instead of straight a head, Colyton road from Feilding to Ashhurst, vinegar hill coming from anywhere north, they look for the shortest route not neccesarily the best.
  8. Do it man you are an inspiration to all the mere mortals who own a car for longer than 6 weeks, childs play, is the changeover $5k their way or yours. I would hang onto the bike and trailer unless you can get most of your money back.
  9. Pollen filter is for the air cond, I was quoted $219.00 to replace my one, are they in a similar place in the E39?
  10. looking at your car OP are you glad you did it now? hindsight is a wonderfull thing if you are glad and still enthusiastic about your project it is irrelevant what others think. On the other hand if you regret it spent heaps wrecked a nearly classic car and still have miles to go both in time and money then I guess thats that also. Over to you to tell us really.
  11. This is a car site so go for it Clinton, like your Benz, I've had a few cars the same as you. I'll list mine later had about 47 cars though or thereabouts.
  12. Also a couple of higher K M52B28 around as well, in these e39's Rego FCD686 - 390K AYP915 - 353K Both still very tidy cars as well, so no anything with a 2 in front of it is still relatively low.
  13. I had an inspection done at coombes and yes they noticed everything, not to keen on the dings and scratches, if you want underneath and mechanical and how the car was new inspection then they are the ones. About $160.00 I think it was.
  14. Imagine that aye so crack up 20 BS members issuing a warrant of inspection demand turning up in our e30's to bust some scammer.
  15. 540 I would say as well, but you won't get it for $8k or even $11k I reackon, that 523i will be a bit under powered earlier one as well no steptronic (nissan gearboxes), looks the part but still an import with a small engine. The 540 will appreciate hold it's (value) better than the 6 cylinders, they always seems to just compare the listings on that search function you have. All said and done that black one highlights the great shape of the E39 sedan great looking machine aye. love it, sex with it yumm.
  16. Sounds touch and go, i have 4 for sale etc, meaning he can re-list, brand new member, same add for each car, not knowing the cars, doesn't sound like a connoissuer like whom ever owns that building and contents obviously is. That person would go on and on in the adds if they were genuine, no mention of viewing, dodgy answears, what ever - we all know it's a scamm hijacked photo's new member, aiming high that prick.
  17. True just read the first few lines and looked at the pictures as you do.
  18. There is a 635CSi with Roulettes on it for sale in Auckland on TM, roulettes are off the E39, if the M6 have different studs, I'm not sure. If E34 wheels fit you will be right big selection of rims available.
  19. Ex Jim Richards bathurst as well, that is a good investment that car at that sort of money, makes that John Player Special e30 in Palmy for $150k a tad dear, remember that one.
  20. looks tourquoise (SP), wasn't there a 95 e36 vert coupe around Auckland for a while, last seen in 2003 at the waterfront?
  21. XJR Supercharged would be the ultimate low milage circa 100k in tourquoise Ken Stout had a while back about $16k worth, enthusiast territory, but a nice sleed. See what happens when no one buys your XJ40. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/S...n-285575160.htm Cracked up.
  22. Common consensous with Jags if you can't afford a new one, then you can't afford a secondhand one, laughed at that, I would definately up the anti and get into a X300, but if you arn't one to keep the car long an old XJ40 might be the answear, remember there is hardly any following for them so you want quit it as easy as you did with your coupe when it's time to sell. Might be litterly 4 buyers in the whole country wanting a cheap jag and at least 50 for sale, BMW arn't the pinacle but they are more known and renowned.
  23. Had another look I would take it to Gary Keith for a PP. Looks alright though worth a punt. You should be buying a BMW though dude you're type might not be welcome here anymore, you might have to join the AA roadside assist forum, get a loyalty card etc, - AA for quiters aye Doug. lol....
