  1. ^ storeman forgot to place labels on it. labels were in the office, but we have put processes in place that will prevent this. Mostly sorted, awaiting confirmation from freighter and trucking co.
  2. storeman just let an unmarked pallet worth 40k get picked up by an unmarked box truck with no paperwork. when i was away. and i am now blamed for it ( not directly, but there is the insinuation) :sigh:. hoping the truck was definitely one of our regular forwarders, though they claim there is no knowledge of it.
  3. ^ that is correct, for torque, the 320d is excellent. I would also hazard it is actually good in traffic too, if you do not like stop start. 30-40 minutes is more than enough to get the engine to operating temps.
  4. ^ sleep deprivation is a serious malady. probably was the Tesla that was weaving in and out of traffic above the speed limit that precipitated that incident.
  5. I used Audiocity in Penrose for my F10, and am pretty happy with their cost to do so.
  6. we've had a flood in our stores, soaking the carpet on Monday, and have been assaulted with a smell most foul continuously. in addition to boxes and boxes of now unsaleable goods, we have to now get the landlord to ensure the blocked drains are no longer so.
  7. Can't even move out of this place at the moment, in spite of the crime etc. though, i have left both my cars unlocked on many occasions overnight by accident...
  8. info@aquaair.com.au you could ask them. they are a kiwi company with branches in oz.
  9. good luck mate. Trying to move any car that isn't a hybrid or electric at the moment is a hard one. may get easier after April, if the prices of new imports are made prohibitive.
  10. depends on commute and diesel car type. I hoofed the Q7 very quickly as it was barely warming up ( peak covid lockdown traffic) so was being very inefficient, but the VW CC i had was sweet as I sat in traffic a lot then. with stop start systems and better diesels, it is possible to get far better mileage.
  11. filled the ActiveHybrid up with 98. $205 for 58 litres. first time it has ever breached the bicent mark; i'm good for another 600 ks, if driven miserly. works out to me spending $15 a day on fuel to commute. I should buy a leaf (too late, the prices for those have doubled)
  12. Took the Pug to Jase's today, he is clear and helpful about what steps I need to take to bring the pug up to WOF standards and better.
  13. two weeks left, already up to 3.6k. may close out at 10x that?
  14. Hey JAse, can you do rust repairs?
  15. https://www.azonano.com/news.aspx?newsID=38721#:~:text=A new study by scientists, produce large quantities of hydrogen. I think it is a great idea, but there will be a limit on how much it can make at the time.
  16. My time has come, I want to go home but patience must prevail. three more weeks.

  17. if only the vertical slats were available for the iX instead of the Hex grille.
  18. I can swear by AA, have claimed with them a few times over the years, culminating with a writeoff. they are good with service imho. though may be worth getting it through your NZ bank. There's only really 2 underwriters in NZ.
  19. if they could create tanks to modify to fit existing cars and basically be drop in conversions.
  20. all these ideas are grand, but it requires a "big" government that is not beholden to boards of publicly traded companies, nor can it operate like one. the notion that everything must be done for profit has resulted in the mire we find ourselves in.
  21. surprisingly, there was supposed to have been a biomethane production plant at an old pig farm in taupiri, but I guess a lot of plans got scuppered in the last 10 years by NIMBYs
  22. if they could utilise cow fart methane/landfill gas, it could be awesome
  23. switch Tiwai Point from Aluminium to Hydrogen production
