  5. Have used NPD 100 on 3 tanks of fuel thus far, and it seems ok? I feel I am getting better fuel efficiency at the moment. (I mean, Rotorua and back on 3/4 a tank of fuel isn't bad considering the way I am using it) long term, will need to see the effect of the NMA on the fuel lines.
  6. as much as it would be an absolute unit of a platform to be converted, it is definitely too precious to do so. I think. (hope)
  7. I am very happy with Apex Automotive, @BMTHUG is a professional, an enthusiast, and he's on the Shore, on Porana Rd if you are in the area. I travel to him from Flat Bush.
  8. :puts tin foil hat on: Dairy factories do need expansion, and the industry is loathe to invest in more efficient technologies, thanks to accountants holding the purse strings.
  9. Also, won't be surprised to be seeing even easy fixes (not this one, this needs The Jig TM) getting written off more now, due to a reduced parts availability. My guess is the sudden surge of power in the wet caught this one out.

  19. My Boss wants to bring in a 1998 911 Targa from Shropshire. i see fun times ahead.
  20. Hi ya Jason. I am going to start of with a yarn about a grand uncle who was a self employed sales rep, and bought new cars every 2-3 years, his rationale was that he couldn't afford to spend the time on sudden repairs, beyond the standard servicing schedule. so the second it needed anything major ( water pump/radiator/ belts) he sold them. My gut feel is to move the car on while it still has some value to it, especially since time is of the essence here. The only issue is if you were to get an 6 or so year old F3*, you will be coming up to similar issues with the wear and tear items, except you will be driving a car that is "worth" spending the money on. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/320i/new-listing/3075362349?bof=wbGF0k7Z
