if you have bump stops, would it actually matter if you mark the upper part of the rod, as it wont be in contact with the shock seal?

check the sound deadening above the glovebox. Undo the nuts on the firewall attachment part (Glenns picture) and reach up and have a feel around. Check the coolant pipe grommets and other grommets as well. Hope you find the culprit, and hopefully its not rusted badly/no rust at all

any tips on pressing in the connector pipe to the block? the o-ring is making it very tuff, especially with the tight space and little leverage dish washing liquid to lube?

where are you located? ColourWorks in Auckland does it for 20-30 a bottle (a big twink bottle) depending if you buy aerosol cans or not, colour matched to your petrol flap to factor in fade and aging

Not an expert on glue or sealants, and google results show alot of different stuff to use etc was wondering if BS gents could recommend a glue to attach the projector unit (Metal) to the lens housing (Plastic) that can withstand the heat from the bulb, and a sealant to stop moisture getting in. Silicon or butyl to seal, epoxy to glue maybe? Pics to explain, and why it wont screw in like a stock unit should. Cheers

is there a way to clean/rinse the insides of a headlamp? Mine has some water residue in there, wondering the best way to clean it without taking it apart. I dried it with a dehumidifier after water got into them, but there's a bit of a white residue in them Thanks

you dont. I went to an empty carpark somewhere in an industrial zone on Sunday afternoon

^ +1 its to dodge the ratings war i guess, after all, the network provides the budget....not torrents/p2p/fileshare

Poor fella, now he's without his car. I guess he can't pay his fines now because he can't go to work without transport. Pretty stupid how they let offenders keep the car for a quite a while, before taking it off their hands for crushing. If they let the public go "pick-a-part" on the cars, and let the offenders watch the items being bought for peanuts; now thats a punishment.

Keep the lip, sides and back black. IMO, colour matched sides makes it look "sunk in" without a side skirt. Looking forward to the pics, should have a good stance (black creates the illusion of more "lowness" )

its just an option Glenn. yes, it is fraudulent and illegal no doubt. He's a grownup, pretty sure he'll do whats best for him and his dad

I guess you haven't told anything at all to the insurance company? Tell them the w*nker who hit you took off, and you couldn't get his plate number. Make the guy who hit you pay the excess before you make a claim with your insurance company Good way to settle it quick, as long as no one finds out or it doesn't affect your future policy/no claim bonus/fee increase etc

Take the protective boot off and see if there is visible play/lateral movement from the rack end's ball joint? Or remove the tie rod joint from the strut and move it around a lot, and feel if any play comes from the rack end joint? Hope that helps, someone with more technical skills can come up with a more civil/proper way of checking lol. Check your subframe to control arm joint as well, mine had the most play out of all the other joints when i replaced everything

Even 120gb is a bit of a struggle to use up. Telecom doubled up all their data starting last month

the Powerflex ones are the same price if you import them yourself IF you don't get stung by GST/Duty (thats from my calculations including shipping etc) You could always ask Gavin @EuroItalia for the price of OEM rubber ones

Another good app, "Flick Tunes". I found it yesterday (not free unfortunately), after getting annoyed from double clicking home button and fiddling around the gearstick to change songs. You use swipes to change songs and volume etc Great for your iPod/iPhone, especially if you don't wanna get distracted from changing songs.

i've had items sent as "Gifts" to prevent duty and gst fees. All those items were handled by NZPost when it arrives here, and posted internationally via EMS postage or the national post of the country of origin. It is based on the experience and discretion of the customs officer on duty to choose which package to open and inspect, if they are suspicious of the item being mislabelled.

isn't that surveying ?
