Supercharger kit available? M5x engine

Omg, I just googled this. That is so funny. I still have a screenshot from him somewhere where he says all western women are whores, and worse. -

Its like that annoying ex girlfriend that wont go away... -
Looks good. It will all come down to how well its been serviced. Also, the clearcoat likes to lift on the red e46 so if you wont be garaging it, that is something to consider
-
There is conflicting info out there on this one. I know the cops had to pay the owner because it was crushed before it went to court or something. The garage that was involved in some of the build made a post about it, and seem to have an issue with police / authority.

Supercharger kit available? M5x engine

He also threatened posters and their families. He also threatened a terror attack on nz through his blog. Hes been banned from so many forums for the same behaviour that I really think his supercharger pursuits are less important than how he treats others. -

The six and eights of the same era kind of crosses two eras. You had the m54 which is an exceptional engine, and the m62 which apart from needing timing chain guides every 200k kms is also a great engine. And then you had the later six and eight engines which were the 'n' series and which I know little about. Having owned a n46 I can say its the worst engine bmw ever made.

I love just how detailed and fastidious you are with this project

What colour is that?

Okay, I'll leave it in, and also replace the little thermostat on the egr cooler
-
@aja540i yes it does have the egr still. What is your opinion on deleting the egr?

I'm currently doing a cooling system overhaul on my e46 330d with the m57n 204hp engine. So far I have new rad, expansion tank, fan, waterpump and thermostat, and I will be buying new hoses too. What else should I be replacing while Im in there?

Compared to the common style 68 msport rim the outer rim will poke out 43.7mm more than before at the front; https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=225&aspect=45&diameter=17&wheelwidth=7.5&offset=41&width2=225&aspect2=45&wheel_size=17&wheel_width=8-5&offset2=10 And will poke out 40mm more than before at the rear. You are gonna have to roll the guards, be really aggressive with the camber (there is almost zero camber adjustment at the front), and run some very stretched tyres. Stretched tyres seriously compromise performance.

The one your mate grabbed is from a e46 that had a m43b19 engine, and wont fit unless you reposition the module with zipties.

I dont have a spare at the moment, but you should def do the mod when you find one.

Koni coilovers are desirable so its easily a $10k car
- 17 replies
-
What coilovers does it have? With e36 prices going the way they are I would think its a 10k car, and only going to increase in value. What car are you considering trading it for?

Front subframe triangle brace - Where do washers go ?
zero replied to Cement's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
A good upgrade is to go to the later brace which was a big aluminum sheet. None of mine have had washers though. -
Best to import from the US. Bring a few over in a pallet, and sell all but one of them on, and it will pay for the one you keep
-
If you are wanting the v8 version of the 420g they are very rare, and you would be best to import from the US. If you want the six cylinder version you could try nick weitz at weitz industries, or kayne barrie at kayne barrie motorsports
